Funny Bush talking with a mouth full of food is as upsetting than remarks to Blair. Now his impromptu and distasteful massage of Germany's Prime Minister. This is what happens with Bush when he has no one to promt him and no one pulling his strings. Is he still just a spoiled rich college boy ?

What do you think of his behavior?

I am for pot being legal, plain and simple.Reason why i'm for it, because I know too many people that need pot to make them feel better.(one person because they have MS and another who is end stage cancer)Don't the goverenment know all the thing's that can be made from it, like clothes,rope,medicine,etc....?And just think of all the time and energy law enforcement would have to go after real law breaker's, if pot was legal.I say make pot legal,go after the real drug's like Crack,Meth,etc.....!!!

Remember guys, a friendly discussion. "We've saved Europe's butt twice" says a well-meaning answerer. Has America really? Can someone offer evidence that counters the number and pressure of Stalin's troops on Hitler, and Hitler's plain bad military strategy near the end of WWII. We're not saying America didn't save lives, but did they really win the war single-handedly?
World War I ended when Germany starved itself to death, and we all signed some peace treaties. Evidence proving that the U.S. saved the world then? Please: historical evidence, not emotional evidence.

Maybe providing weapons, or other equipment so that Bush can continue to claim how dangerous and "unstable" the country as a justification for the continued occupation.

any unused credit cards. Theirs is maxed out and they are barely paying the interest. No one will raise their limit.

Any patriots out their willing to let Washington use your card/s?

They promised to return it as soon as they're finished with it, and will use it only once.

Our Attorney General of Utah has supported legislation giving illegals drivers licences, in-state tuition and after a visit in his office last month, appears there are many illegals working at the state house. It is being refurbished and many of the workers, janitors and others appear to be people who either cannot or will not speak English.

He believes illegals do not raise our crime rate...aside from a few gangs....so I am looking for information which can be documented.

Thanks.

so they can justify illegal surveillance on them, and then imprison them without charge, so they can't vote, and the conservatives can steal another election? I thought it was funny...

Transportation in major American cities is deplorable (it takes me an hour to go less than 20 miles on highways every morning).

Why don't we have more / faster trains? Better cargo shipping inland? An updated phone system? A national broadband internet system for all Americans to use? An improved national energy grid? To name just a few of the issues facing our aging infrastructure.

Once upon a time the infrastructure was one of the top issues for legislators and was one of their primary responsibilities. Why don't they do a better job with this now instead of just handing out pork contracts to companies and handouts to various special interest groups?

I'd really like to hear from an actual legislator why this is no longer an issue.

I have directly seen the failures in the Bush Admin in education! 1) There are a number of schools in my state that are running out of money because they are not getting support from the federal level. Because of this no child left behind schools in small areas have to test higher with fewer kids to get enough money from the federal government. 2) I am a college student i am paying for my schooling myself, so i have a loan. I used to have 1% interest on my federal loan, but recently it has jumped to 6.7%. I am the near future and i know it doesnt sound like much but it adds up and i (the near future) is suffering from it. 3) Bush is allowing corp to send jobs over seas, so he is putting the lowest educated people out of work and i think thats why it raises crime all over the board which it makes it harder for everyone else. Some EXPLAIN this to me

I was in the school's cafeteria and a couple of just returned soldiers from iraq were telling their friends about it. Another guy said he did not get the point of the war and one of the soldiers said "f#cking iraqies were messing with us, so we went to blast them". Then I heard other things like "their ugly women" and "the kill business is good".
Was I underinformed?, at the beggining I had heard the war was called iraqi freedom.

As a result Americans would had not been able to afford eating a tasty hot dog without ketchup.

Lucky Bush won! Only the price of gas went up. Liberals who hated large trucks and SUVs are secretly applauding Bush for helping to rid these vehicles.

Americans do not want price gouging on Ketchup!

Raising the price of gas or price gouging on gas ? who cares!!! I would be a happy American as long as I get to eat a tasty hot dog with ketchup and paying $10/gal of gas anyday!!

Only $10/gal of gas anyway by 2008!!!

What would you do if you saw Osama Bin Laden? Are you a violent person, would you kill him? Would you call the police? Would you tell others? Would you arrest him? Let me know I am really interested in knowing what Americans would do. Me personaly? I think I would beat him down and hold him until police came.

a true blue neo-realist, reliving the cold war everyday of his life, basking in the redundant ideological musings of Henry Kissinger, this man has no place in the political sphere - he antaginises the U.N and re-enforces the international steriotype that all Americans are ignorant, selfish, vile and destructive.

I'm a religious conservative. How can the Republicans ever think they represent me if they believe in the death penalty? They always say things like "we respect the sanctity of human life" when talking about abortion, then turn around and rally behind executing some helpless prisoner.

I am deeply opposed to needless, brutal executions. War is different - I will make that distinction right now. But executing a helpless prisoner, while viscerally satisfying, doesn't actually accomplish anything. I've read literally hundreds of articles, publications, and studies on the subject and the justifications just don't hold up to scrutiny.

The need for one person to have revenge on another cannot be justification in this matter. If it was, then we are teaching that vengeance is the proper response to being wronged. Which doesn't seem like a lesson I want to teach my children. For that matter, isn't that mentality of cyclical vengeance exactly what is causing problems in Lebanon?
