Yes I did this myself, so long as you've not be out of the army for more than two year you can keep your rank. I went in straight as a Cpl. If you've been out more than two years you will more than likely have to start from private, but they will likely fast track you back up the ranks due to your experience.

Yes and no. if you have been out of the regular army for 2 years you join the TA as a private with no qualifications, under 2 years you keep your rank and qualifications and same rate of pay. bett get round to your TA centre this next week and sign up

Do you mean ex Regular soldiers join the stabs at the same rank? Yes i believe so. T. A soldiers get treat like dirt compared to their regular counterparts.
