Nobody can be "drafted" for president. She could be encouraged to run, but if she doesn't want the job, that's all there is to it. I think there are enough Republicans who are electible (McCain and Guliani come to mind 1st) that Condi can take some time off or, if she chooses, maybe be a VP or some other cabinet post in the next administration.

No one is getting drafted into a nomination for a major party. Rice doesn't want to run because she wants to cash in after the next election and hit the lecture circuit. She'll probably write a book and then consider running after four years.
Personally I wouldn't vote for her. She's a Bush flunky and has no credibility with me. Her testimony before the 9/11 Commission was an embarassment. The next GOP nominee will not come from the Bush Administration because that person would have to spend the entire campaign on the defensive.

Condi is a Bush handmaiden and for that reason, I wouldn't support her even if she dumped her association with him. Anyway, the racist and sexist population of this country wouldn't even consider her so it doesn't matter anyway. I respect Hilary for her allegience to Bill but that will keep her from being elected so her baggage as well as the attitude of our country negates that as well. I'm not so sure I would vote for her even tho I have voted for the "lesser of 2 evils" in the past.

She's about as stupid as the rest on them in the White House.
Just because you're close to the president, it doesn't make you presidential material.
All you so called Repub's, try to get someone with at least half a brain next time around.

whoever runs against that stupid Hillary Clinton will absolutely win. I dont think we are ready for a woman pres.....much less a black woman pres.....its sad but true, and Im being honest. If Condoleeza was elected for pres. (if she even ran) I would kiss the ground.....because I love her.

She shouldnt run and if she does she will get little support from the public and lose in a land slide. Hilary LCinton shouldn't run euther. If both run then an independant might actually win the election.

Just think about it. A vote for her would be like a vote for Ralph Nader. You would only throw away a vote you could use to select the lesser of the other evils that are running.
She would only have a chance if a terrible disease went through America wiping out most white folks.
