If your dad is deceased and you are the next of kin you can request them through www.archives.gov. Theres a little box that says most requested and it has military records in it Click on that and fill out the request. If your dad is not deceased then he will have to go on the site and request his records.

call the Army number in the phone book its a start they can tell you where to begin. Maybe go to the Army website also. It might take some serching but they should be able to keep you on the track to finding info
