If the US pulled all of its troops out of the Middle East, and it stopped supporting Israel and any efforts to defeat the terrorist outside of America, would the Muslim terrorists lay down their weapons?

The US was not in the Middle East during 9/11. Do you really think this would happen? News flash: Muslim terrorists want to rule the world with their hatred. They would, (does anyone remember the trial in Virginia) annihilate all Christians, Jews, Pagans, Hindus, etc. Their greatest dream is to kill every American citizen alive unless they are Muslim. I hope people in Europe does not feel to comfortable because according to the Muslim terrorists we are all infidels and we are worthy of death.

No, that is the problem. The radical clerics who really run these countries want only Islam to be accepted and hate the West because of our freedoms, which they consider a threat to the power they have over their sheep. It works because they keep the young brainwashed in the religious schools and because of the extreme poverty in their countries... which is a result of the lack of economic opportunities for the people, due to ridiculous religious laws. Also, no businesses want to have industry there because of the insecurity. In other words, the clerics breed hatred toward the West, which could help their people have jobs, but if that happened, the people might like the West to much and not obey the clerics... its sad.

No, they would go back to fighting between themselves to determine who gets to lead what. If you look at the history of just the Arabian pennisula, you can see that the tribes that united to make the existing countries have been waring with each other for as long as anyone can remember for control of territory that at the time amounted to sand and a few water wells.

Don't you find it odd that just recently they were blamed for 911 without a lot of evidence, and now we are at war with them...you need to question what the government is feeding you.
