Some say the press is all liberal etc. Do you agree, have they given fair coverage of illegal immigration and other issues in america, or have they tried to substitute their bias for actual public opinion? What's YOUR opinion on illegal immigration, if you'd care to share it?

Say you live in Oregon, and you feel like the federal government is screwing up the united states..and you and all your Oregonian Brothers and sisters hold a vote and the people overwhelmingly decide they want their independance from the federal government..and with this freedom Oregon could decide on their own cool rules...

Oil companies like to play a shell (no pun intended) game.
company 1 has 3 subsidiaries.
a sells to b who sells to c who sells again to a
the oild never moves, but the 'sale' price climbs so each company can make a profit and then the ficticiously expensive gas hits your friendly neighborhood gas pump!
fraud and it happens daily!
OIl companies generally announce 350%-500% profits
WOW
and none of it helps our economy (with the exceptions of the boards of said companies). The US gov't puts a HUGE tax per gallon and when is the last time you got 1/10 cent change for your gallon?

time to shake up the system and force, by law, the constant flow of oil, no make believe shortages!
TEXAS and OKLAHOMA produce huge amounts of oil, but they pay more than the nat'l average at times

FRAUD!!!
ALASKAN pipeline oil goes to JAPAN for 50% of what we pay for arab oil!
FRAUD!!!
Let Japan buy arab oil and we can drop prices selling our own
tyvm!

years of corruption and incompetence on the part of Mexico? Do you feel that it's right for american communities to continually be asked to absorb Mexico's excess population? Mexicans are mooching off of Americans becuase they are too lazy to take care of business at home. It is easier to jump the boarder to let me support them to work hard to improve their own country. What if we were to send 1 guard unit to mexico and take all their beach resort for the US as payment for all th BS we put up with over their fence jumpers. All the poor working stiffs who cant get a raise because there are a million mexicans who will do his job for less can get vouchers for free vacations...are you with me? every fence an Arizona farmer has to mend because an Illegal cut it to get in will earn them 1 day at an all inclusive. This could work!!

It seems to me that it is just a degradation of the English language, and should be avoided at all costs as it identifies you as an ignorant poor person. When it is embraced by entertainers, it further degrades the English language. Thoughts?

It's widely assumed that drugs/drug sales are behind a lot of the increase in crime we've seen over the last few years, some states have gone as far as taking prescription medication off the shelves to prevent people from making methamphetamine etc. What connection, if any, do you percieve between the illegal drug trade and illegal immigration?

I think so. I hate that credit will be the leading reason for the next economic crash heading our way.
I hate to say it but people should not buy so much, if they cannot afford it.

Having said that, the other side of the coin is that the companies that offer credit and then punish you for going over (when their computer is programmed to ALLOW you to go over) are fairly well at fault as well!
If you have a limit, then you should be denied (by LAW!), from exceeding it!
If they allow your going over, it should be a statutory increase of your credit line!
I am against outrageous bank fees too!
over draft, and then extended over draft fees and overdraft for THEIR charges!
these type of defrauding the public should be ended!
If you write bad checks then you pay! it is a crime everywhere, but it should also be a crime to force you over by the only system that you can use!
