I remember being at work when news came out that Thatcher had resigned as Prime Minister. I remember the sky turning blue from a dull grey colour. All the flowers started to bloom and the birds started to sing!!!!

Thatcher was one of the worst things to happen to this country. Don't fall for the old "you've got to admire her leadership" claptrap.

She did a lot of good initially with the economy, new labour has a lot to thank her for, and I,m a socialist saying that.

The iron lady tough, uncompromising, I never thought I would ever see her shed a tear over anything, eventually, I did but sadly it was for herself as she left downing st, for the last time. what a pity she found it difficult, nay! impossible, to shed a tear for others who suffered under her leadership.
she done more damage to the north east of england than adolph hitler.
at least adolph,s bunch of scallywags stuck with him to the bitter end, thatcher,s seem to have abandoned her how very fitting.

Margaret Thatches was a great leader in my opinion.

But, she's like marmite; either love her or hate her.

But I'd say people like Churchill were better.
