It's funny because I see it the opposite way. Every time I try to have a decent discussion with a leftist about politics they get all red in the face and it's impossible to have a logical conversation. I consider myself in the center of things, but just because a few of my opinions agree with the conservatives all my liberal friends think I am a complete right wing conservative. It really sucks a*s.
About the group or individual to be singled out as evil, it is their actions that label them as evil. Say for example the Taliban, Al Qaida, the Islamic dictators, and communist leaders' actions are self explanatory. If you really understand what these governments are doing to their people then it's easy to say that yes they are the closest thing to evil on this planet. Or Hitler, would you have considered him evil? When anyone inflicts harm and pain and suffering on innocents that seems pretty evil to me.

I've actually done a bit of a survey of answers & questions here. I counted up how many of the answers were angry, hateful, resorting to insults & name-calling without substantive arguements. While both sides are guilty, the liberals are twice as likely to respond that way than conservatives.
Lets say a question gets 30 answers, about 15 will be intellegent and well thought out, (split evenly between sides), about 10 will be hateful liberals & about 5 will be hateful conservatives
The same is true for the hateful questions like "WHY DO NEOCONS THINK THAT 'NEOCON' MEANS NEW CONSERVATIVE WHEN ANYONE WITH COMMON SENSE KNOWS lT MEANS STUPID?"

I am a conservative and just a regular old guy that believes in the old school ways I was raised up by. I have noticed more insults and snide remarks from the liberal side calling us conservatives racists, Nazis, neocons, repubes etc. Check out some of the comments made by Kookoo Bananas as an example. I have had the same insulting remarks from the liberal side when they don't even know me. As a matter of fact, I have liberal friends and I get along well with them though I disagree with their politics. So, it definetly goes both ways and gets a little childish when we do all this accusing and name calling.

It works both ways pal look at the answer I got.
First, John Kerry never called the Marines "terrorists." That was a lie concocted by some of the less accountable mouthpieces of the neocon movement.
Second, Coulter is a red-hot flaming bee-atch plagiarist who has bartered her skinny white behind, chest bumps and bottle-bred hair for a shot at the bigtime badmouthing anyone with half a brain in this nation.
But don't take my word for it. Just ask her. She'll lie, but at least you'll get a stiffy getting that close to her before her bodyguards Taser you.
now tell me that is not full of hate

a fiscal conservative has very narrow views, Black and White,,, no Grey,,, no Color,,,, they are programed to believe in certain scriptures of the Bible,,, and the other scriptures don't really mean what is written, or they just ignore them,, or they believe whatever their religious leaders tell them,,, evangelicals have been taught to teach only the parts of the "good book" that are within their belief system,,, I don't really understand being "born-again" but whatever Pastor Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell or Pat Robinson were selling,,, many were buying, and still do,, in droves,, who the "preacher of the day" is, I really don't know,, Franklin Graham maybe,,, who said ,,, "all the murderers in the congregation are forgiven for their sins, and will see a place in heaven" ,,, he was talking to every mother who had an abortion,,, he didn't mention the Father of the fetus,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Why are the liberals, so mean spirited and call names when they are confronted with the facts of any argument. I have even heard a liberal say I don't care about the facts, now what kind of mind set is that.

Boy, that's not tarring with a broad brush, is it? I'm conservative (with a libertarian twist) and I don't hate anyone. I disagree, sometimes vehemently, but life's too short to go around hating. Why would liberals like you lie about me like that?

eddiervc, your question is a little odd. You are talking about a whole group of people and labeling them negatively, and yet, you seem like you are offended that they will be offended by you.
