There are a lot of manufacturers making 1911 style semi-auto pistols today. Colt, Springfield, Kimber just to name a few. Not including the custom shops like Wilson Combat, who makes the best "assembly" line model 1911 on the market today and why do you think that company is the best?

IT seems to me this only leeds to more terror and where does it end.
SOMEone said one mans terrorist is anothers feedom fighter and surely a group of responcible people could control the travel of unsafe terrorists .
I am sorry if we may not allow some people in for a time but nothing is worse then our state department swinging deals to allow foriegn students from terrorist and middle east nations on our soil.
Sorry but we have plenty of proffesors that could go there if the price was right to educate the people in there own lands and broaden the perspective of our own proffesors who would live there and return .
MAYBE through understanding we could reach peacefull understandings of a culture as old and backward as an eye for an eye culture and go beyond it ourselfs.
FORCED peace and democracy will only proof disasterous for all partys involved and the backlash of terror is felt by the rest of the world and one day soon again by our own nation .they are going to do something to top 911

An insurgent blows himself up at a checkpoint in Afghanistan, the next morning his comrades are caught due to information obtained via torturing the associates of the former dead bomber. In New York city, a terrorist attack is prevented after police arrest one of the bombers. Paramilitary agents beat the man within an inch of his life to get the location of the bomb out of him. His friends are tied up and dropped 5000 feet out of the air, the bodies are found in the streets of Saudi Arabia with the word 'terrorist' burned onto every inch of their body in Arabic. Terrorists murder an innocent foreign aid worker, the next day 50 Al-qaeda prisoners are found decapitated and burning on crucifixes outside the facility.

One day the news comes in: OBL has been found, dead with 911 bullet shots through the body and 3 daggers through his heart. A video is released days later, showing him being burned alive and screaming. 9 was burned on the chest, 11 on his back.

So what do you think?

Having recently read a question asking "What do you think about the women soldiers in Iraq?" I thought I'd ask why people feel more strongly for a female than a male, both know what to expect when they sign up.

Our martyrs are in heaven, and their dead are in hell. The struggle in Palestine is an American war, waged from America's most heavily armed foreign military base, Israel. In the west, people are programmed not to think of the Israeli-Palestinian "conflict" in those terms, just as they are programmed to think of the Israelis as victims, not illegal and brutal occupiers. This is not to underestimate the initiative of the Israeli state, but without F-16s and Apaches and billions of American taxpayers' dollars, Israel would have made peace with the Palestinians long ago.

The political left and right are waging a war against each other, and on those they want to influence. This is a war of one morality against the other, and the cultural battlefields include education, art & entertainment, science & medicine, marriage laws, not to mention political commentary and debate in the media. They have the effect of polarizing our country and distracting us from the bigger issues of wealth and power. I want to do something to contribute to changing what we care about as citizens. What can I do?

Americans are from a thoughtful and honest debate on the war in Iraq.

There is no doubt that most Iraqis despised Saddam's rule, but they were equally opposed to our own from the occupation's origins.

It is time to cut and run. Time to cut the hated occupation and run from the brutality and violence that we are responsible for. It is time to start working for peace, which entails fleeing from our previous path of bloodshed. War was not the answer in Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Iraq and a thousand other bloody excursions, and it will not be the right answer for Iran, North Korea, Syria, China, Libya Cuba or any other demon we can conjure up. War is never the answer.

1-securing the border with state of the art equipment/ more border troopers.
2- guest worker program after a criminal back ground check and a physical exam, with NO path to citizenship. $5000 fine and learning english inorder to qualify. and no eligebility for ANY social/governmental assistant. ( for those who have been here for 5 years or longer)

the fines collected by the INS will help in building the wall and providing the border patrol with the equipments they need.

illegals will become legal meaning they will be able to contribute to our society fair and square.

if you dont like my ideas. please dont be rude.
thanks.

why when we talk about immigrationh the main target becomes Mexicans. We are being misinterpreted as terrorists and animals(just like we are treated). there are good and bad people, i agree, but that goes for everyone, and if you didn't know, the majority of the crimes being comitted in the U.S come from WHITES, but guess what... the majority in jail are actually the AFRICAN AMERICAN AND THE MEXICAN. people just HATE and it is disgusting.

I hear this all the time on here... and granted, Bush and Republicans won the election and congress... but the NATIONAL presidential election was 51 percent to 48 percent... that's far from a "vast majority" that you keep talking about... that's a VERY slim majoirty... against KERRY, a candidate most of us would probably agree is weak...

I was a suporter of the war based on information given at the start of the war. but after billions of our dollars and hundreds of troops I am questioning my own thinking at the start of the war. So this is what I have came up with: The billions of dollars we have invested in the war on terror I belived could have been more usefully spent on developing not only an alternate fuel source but also the an affordable coversion kit for automobiles currently on the road. This would stop two things first it would stop the rollercoaster of gas prices, afuel made in america for americans would not be subject to outside influences on price andit would not be as easy to manipulate the market as oil is today. This would help ease our pain at the pump. The spin off would be even better for America than the gas savings, oil is the life blood of terorism, with out it it dies. So here is the question, could an alt. fuel end a majority of terrorism? And no I am not a liberal, just a thinker....

If the government won't uphold the law with these businesses, and Americans know these companies are either hiring, or operating as an illegal business. It is the American people that support these businesses, and the illegals that they hire. And it is the Americans that are going to have to stop using these to stop the companies from hiring illegals. I am an American, and I hate to admit to myself that I have also supported these criminals, so I made a choice not to. I no longer buy any products from Mexico, who has the largerst amount of offenders in my country. There is nothing racist about that fact, either. My entire family is doing the same, and my mom now pays me to mow the yard, and I can always use a little more gas money. My sister now pays my other sister to babysit her kids. There is always someone in your family that can use a couple extra bucks, stop giving it to an illegal, and give it to them.
