Serious answers only. While questioning us in the parking lot, she (the security guard) asked if we would agree to be temporarily cuffed (by her) while she continued talking with us. We both agreed and were subsequently cuffed. A few minutes later we confesed to the shoplifting. I was just wondering (the case is over so I am not looking to make excuses) if an unamred security guard can cuff if the suspect agrees - even though it is unclear if some one shoplifted yet. Thanks.

For starters, the rules need to be changed so quotas (which differ by which country you're from) end and everyone can be process and accepted according to merit. Also lower the application fees which runs in the hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

Wouldn't it make better sense than the current system?

There's never been 1 recorded death from Marijuana smoking. There are thousands of detha due to Acohol and Ciggrete use each day. How are they better than Marijuana? Studies prove that Marijuana smoke is up to 10 times less harmful to your lungs, and the effects of Marijuana use are nothing compared to the effects of acohol.

I had been under the idea that we should be worried about gett the illegal mexicans out of the U.S. , but now whith more thought I really think we should just take over their country and make it part of ours. Just think of all the companies who have shut down plats in the U.S. and started new ones there, they would be ours again and would be forced to pay employees alot better , so why would mexicans want to leave their home? This is just one of many benefits to Anexing them , so who's with me ?

I have seen a lot of "Impeach Bush" and "Bush Lies" postes on the streets and just yesterday while visiting Seattle I was accosted by a young woman armed with booklets about why Cheney should be arrested or something to that nature. What I wonder is why any of this is so surprising?? He won an election in 2000 without the public majority vote and was re-elected in 2004. Evidentally someone somewhere thinks he has what it takes, so what's the hype?

I got it at a pawn shop in 1992 and there was a change in the law. I don't think they sell them anymore but I am not sure. This guy tried to tell me the police would take it away from me if they caught me with it. Is this true? What should I do if the police tried to take it away from me?

The duma[s]s left his keys in the truck and had his back turned to it. He called the police and the sheriff. It is not a high priority to them. It's Sedgwick County, Wichita, Kansas. Where should we look for the truck? Where do theives go with stolen trucks when they're through with them?

I'm 54 years old and have been following orders for all my life. I've been told I am not allowed to say certain things because they're not politically correct (product of the eighties).

I've been dictated to by my government what recreational substances I can and cannot ingest in my body (unless it's booze or cigarettes or some other federally sponsored drug).

I've been categorized by my government, stereotyped by my fellow americans and if I should (God forbid) ever exercise my right to freedom of speech in the 3-D world I will be crudified by my employer or his cronies.

I know we're supposed to be free but free to do what???

I believe there are millions of Americans that would strongly protest that. Among them the approximately 130,000 currently in Iraq and Afghanistan trudging the terrain in full body armor and combat loads, and triple that at least total that have pulled tours. Body armor alone in 50 pounds with both the front and back 7.62 ballistic plates, 120 rounds of 5.56 ammo about 20 pounds, M16 at 7 pounds, then add on about 15-25 pounds for MRE's and other gear. Now go about for a day or more with all that. Oh and lets not forget, people are trying to kill you the entire time. How many Mexican, Central or South American military personnel are in these areas? ZERO. So don't tell me Americans are lazy, looks to me like we are doing the jobs that no other country in the world wants to do. We send our money to save people, we send food, and most of all we send our children to defend and protect the same people that will gladly stab us in the back. We put up with being called racists, while saving Muslims in Croatia from genocide or helping out the very illegals that themselves kill us or have plans to take parts of our Nation. We are called warmongers for keeping the battles away from the American streets where the people that hate us live. We Americans protect a land that has not seen war on it's own soil in over 100 years. What other nation can say that?
