I hate that you can even ask this question but I know that it happens. Problem is that I don't think Child Molesters should go to jail! If it was my child or grandchild they wouldn't go to jail if I had anything to do about it. GOD would be their judge and they would have court just as soon as I got my hands on their neck or a decent sized gun. As far as drugs and jail goes I personally have mixed emotions about drug laws. I in one sense feel that drugs needs to be legalized and regulated. We allow alcohol and I don't see that people use drugs for any different reasons. Responsibility however is one issue I worry about. People don't do too well drinking and not driving so I worry about if we legalized drugs would we cause a lot more people to become addicted and be in a position to endanger others? People unfortunately also choose paint to get high with and all the time never realizing that it's destroying their brain functions and intelligence so which is the greater evil?

The child molester is more clever and crafty and can therefore easily escape the scene b4 anyone even knows that the child has been tampered with. Whereas the drug pusher who is looking for quick money and may overlook the posibility of getting caught may end up incriminating him/herself by selling drugs to the wrong person (e.g. a cop) or they may be in the wrong place at the right time. Personally I think they should all be put away but inorder to do this, the law enforcement agencies need to up their game and follow through with all these reports of drugs and child molestation. Parents need to be more vigilant and not allow there children to wander all over the place whether or not they are with ppl they know because they r alot of sick pedophiles out there who prey on ppl's children and whenever the opportunity arrives for them, they take full advantage of it so we all need to be very careful.

I personally don't like pot, but I so agree with you on this! I'm a mom and I would rather live next door to someone that smokes a couple of joints, or sells a couple, then to live next-door to a child molester! I want to make it clear I don't think it's okay to sell any kind of drug, but I think there are a lot more criminals out there that the law could be focusing on then the stoner dude!

The problem here is the high number of false allegations made against innocent people. This has caused the justice system to look at these type of cases with a fine toothed comb. Also, as most victims of this crime are very young, they do not make "good witnesses" and are often discredited. Relax, though, all is not lost. In my experience most chid molesters accept some form of plea agreement instead of going to trial. You don't normally hear about those though as the government doesn't want the public to know that they would rather deal with these people than prosecute them.

Child molesters do go to jail the problem is they dont spend enough time in jail, like LIFE.
And as for you; You want to be drug pusher, you should be the child molesters cell mate. Drugs are not and have never been cool. Join the football team or something more productive than selling drugs

I read your question, and as much as I hate to say so. No money (government) tax on joints are collected. But a child molester pays taxes. So the one that sells a joint is cheating the government???? Doesn't sound right does it....

Child Molester's are able to garner sympathy for their crimes in some instances. This is especially true for women who molest boys.
Drugs selling NEVER generates sympathy from the public at large.
Sympathy effects how the justice system treats the 'obviously guilty'.

drug peltelers have hard evedence against them that can be called on the stand without hesitation. melesters create a moral crime that is harder to prove and the moleties are to embaraced to go up onm stand so it can take months for a suite to file where the molester can gust slip away
