Americans keep getting called lazy and not willing to work manual labor jobs.?

I believe there are millions of Americans that would strongly protest that. Among them the approximately 130,000 currently in Iraq and Afghanistan trudging the terrain in full body armor and combat loads, and triple that at least total that have pulled tours. Body armor alone in 50 pounds with both the front and back 7.62 ballistic plates, 120 rounds of 5.56 ammo about 20 pounds, M16 at 7 pounds, then add on about 15-25 pounds for MRE's and other gear. Now go about for a day or more with all that. Oh and lets not forget, people are trying to kill you the entire time. How many Mexican, Central or South American military personnel are in these areas? ZERO. So don't tell me Americans are lazy, looks to me like we are doing the jobs that no other country in the world wants to do. We send our money to save people, we send food, and most of all we send our children to defend and protect the same people that will gladly stab us in the back. We put up with being called racists, while saving Muslims in Croatia from genocide or helping out the very illegals that themselves kill us or have plans to take parts of our Nation. We are called warmongers for keeping the battles away from the American streets where the people that hate us live. We Americans protect a land that has not seen war on it's own soil in over 100 years. What other nation can say that?

Personally as an American who just returned from the Gulf 4 days ago, I would strongly protest against being called lazy and unwilling to work manual labor, first of all I worked 7 days a week for 6 months straight anywhere from 12 to 20 hours a day, lazy I think not!! I would do the same right here on this soil digging ******* ditches just to put food on the table for my family, I will fight and die for this country and my family, a family who lived everyday of that 6 months in fear of the worst, my wife working a manual labor job to supplement our income because I dont make enough to support them on my own and this is the kind of support that they get on the home front, is my life and my honor worth so little? Answer this question carefully folks if it were not for "LAZY AMERICANS" you would not have the right to do it. I dont give a **** what job you are doing it can be done by legal citizens just as well!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are illegal get out you have no right to be here!

Manual labor means doing by hand. Picking crops, cleaning offices and homes, janitorial work, dishwashing, garbage collection, window washing, plumbing, carpentry. Many Americans think they are a notch above doing those kinds of jobs. Other people do it and these happen to be immigrants who do not have benefits, no legal claims to being in the country, and earn less. This problem needs to be solved first, and some countries like Mexico are really trying, but 70 years of mismanagement and corruption are hard to fix in a few years, unfortunately the immigration problem has finally reached scandalous proportions and has to be addressed, but I don't recall it being a problem twenty, thirty, even forty years ago, it was convenient to both sides.

Manual labor does not mean having to carry heavy loads of war equipment in a war nobody wants. If America has to go and fix problems elsewhere then what the heck is the United Nations good for anyway? The rest of the world did not put your forces in Afghanistan, or Iraq, your ability to create your own future problems (and this was said by Madeleine Allbright), and your President, put you there.

Mexico has not seen an armed revolution on its own soil since the end of the Mexican Revoution that started in 1910 and ended in 1920. We are in 2006 and so far nothing yet. I guess that's a pretty good record too, and believe me, we have had many reasons for a revolution, valid ones, unfortunately for Mexicans, it´s been just a host of bad and repressive governments one after the other.

Mexicans don't need to put armed forces anywhere because we lack armament, and technological equipment, and even if America were to provide that, and the training, I bet it would not be used for the original purpose, it would be used by corrupt groups in this country to further their interests, heck, we could even end up with a military dictatorship, and believe me you would not want to see the Mexican variety so close to home.

Mexico and the United States are neighbors, and yet we do not get altogether very well due to a number of reasons. America does not take Mexico seriously at all. We are convenient for some things, but not for others. I remember when the NAFTA became a reality for Canada, Mexico and the United States, some good things have come from it, but not many people were happy when it became known to the the public that Mr. Cantor and his team had bugged the cars assigned to the Mexican negotiators and listened to everything they said, so they had an edge and were ready for whatever the Mexicans were going to say. That is not fair. Talk about the vetoes on products, and a thousand other little things that are like stones in your shoes. NOt a really nice thing to do. Eavesdropping among neighbors is frowned upon. This disposable country policy is not new, the second world war was a prime example of that. The USA was pretty chummy with the rest of the American Continent, until the end of the war. Then they dumped us. Battles can be fought in many fronts, whicn don't need guns and bombs, but can be equally effective.

One phrase in particular caught my attention, and that was that you were doing the jobs other countries don't want. Believe me, nobody does. Not that kind at least.

Nobody is debating american patriotism, there are also people of other races and nationalities and allies from around the world doing the same thing.

The point is, are americans willing to clean toilets and wash dishes for $5/hr? Clean rooms in hotels for $7/hr? Work in construction under the heat, in the cold for $12/hr? And i'm not talking about temporary summer jobs or to pay your way through school, i mean forever. To support your family, send your kids to school and put food on the table. Would you?? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Oh yeah, and I'm sorry if your resume was overlooked for that toilet cleaning position and was given to an illegal immigrant. I know you were looking forward to getting that position, please try again. HAHAHA

Exactly.

People hate us and want us dead solely because we're successful. On top of that, we've been saving the world from starvation, disease, natural disasters, and insane dictators for a hundred years. Yeah, sure, we're lazy.

Imagine if the world had to depend upon France for food, medicine, and protection. Or North Korea. Or Iran. Or Mexico. Or any other country. Much of the world hates that they need us, and that only we can accomplish much of what we do. There are even liberals in this country that hate it. Madeline Albright is a good example.

You are comparing apples and oranges, can't be done, other then they are both called fruit.
You are mistaken about about Mexicans in Iraq, check your figures..but back to oranges. You do not have the job of hiring , at (minimum wage) by weight of produce picked, or of getting your wheat , hay, or corn harvested in a timely and cheap manner. Whites do no routinely apply for this type of labor.

Whites would not work for those fat as*ed housewives who wants some one to whip her kids snotty noses, scrub her toilets and keep her mouth shut about the wages, just for the chance to be in this country. The people who complain that Americans are lazy and won't do manual labor jobs are the same people that are pro Illegal immigrants, and the same people who try to make us feel bad by saying that America is made of immigrants.

Well let me tell you there is many Solders out there that where not born in the U.S that are not even U.S citizens i.e people from MEXICO, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, CHILE, PERU you get the point Fighting for our country so it is very unfair of you to say those things I personally know of a person that is only a U.S resident NOT CITIZEN yet He is out there fighting for this country
If I am correct there are 37,000 immigrants serving our country right now that have not been given their citizenship yet even though they have proven they would do anything for this country.

Honestly, I didn't see anything wrong with your nose, it fits your face just fine. Just know that nose jobs can change a persons face dramatically sometimes. And if anything, the only reason why you might think you have a larger nose than normal is because it only appears that way because your chin is a little small. But don't add that as another problem.
