Because the whole world comes begging to us to help them out ... we should set things right in other countries before the crap hits the fan. If the rest of the world would mind its own business, we wouldn't need to be babysitting upstart nations.

The US rarely pokes its nose where it isn't wanted. In most peaceful countries the US has an embassy where it has been invited to retain close communications with the host government. Usually, the host government has an embassy in the US, for the same reason or reasons.
Regarding troublesome countries such as Iran, N.Korea, Syria and the like, the US sees the need to be pro-active in seeing what these renegades are up to regarding clandestine activities. It is good that it is pro-active, in that, it may have otherwise failed to recognize the nuclear activity going on in Iran and N.Korea.

As it is the US shares and receives a lot of intelligence information from other civilized government. In this way, the US and other peaceful nations can stay on top of what the bad guys are up to, regarding bad intentions.

It might be well for you to reign in your hostility towards the US and its right to protect itself, and its neighbors. Unless you are a member of a foreign power who thinks that by asking loaded questions, you will instill negative reaction in the minds of the average citizen of the world, think again, because answers often time explains the reasons, in a logical and acceptable format.

Lets see. Hmmmm. A bombing of our soil and killing thousands of Americans. A friendship between the bomber and the leader of Iraq. A money trail between these two friends. Hmmmm. Yeah, good enough for me. Especially knowing they will do it again if given the opportunity. Iraq was the place to go and the war has attracted all the evil to that place now fighting us and killing with their roadside bombs and chicken, sneaky way of fighting. If we werent there fighting with them you can be sure they would have been here many times with their hate crimes of death. I rather appreciate the war being taken to them.

by nature of being a nation populated by immigrants seeking a better life the USA suffers from a lack of ethical understanding of the values of other people in the world and as a result of this expect everyone else to accept their values and religious views.what the population of the USA accept as correct is often wrong for other nations who have their own ethics and values based on generations of involvement.

We always seem to be the ones cleaning up the mess everyone else has made. We are tired of cleaning up after you guys.

Take responsibility already and act to change things for the better and you will see much less of us.

Just like any other nation.

Look at how every other nation tries to tell us what to do. Maybe they should set the example - and shut up?
