A friend broke her foot at work. She is trying to tell me they have no light duty work and they will asses her points and fire her if she does not go to work. If she does work this could lead to further injury to her. Can an employer fire her with having a physicians excuse from work. Or place her job in any kind of jepordy. State is PA where headquarters is located. Acual job is in WV.

I am shocked at the vehemence of the denouncers. Many say he was the WORST President ever? What about his record as a peace broker? What about his activities on behalf of the homeless since leaving the White House? I seek opinions based on his actiions not based on a greasy beer swillin' brother (we ALL have one of those). Thanks. Personally I think he was one of the greatest statesmen the US will ever see.

I was a victim of sexual harassment by a co-worker just recently.
I went through all of the protocol and used the "chain-of-command" provided by my employer. It has been 3 days since I've reported this and I feel like they are trying to pacify the situation rather than rectify. Now the person, who has not issued a formal apology, can still work at the same store, just on different shifts. That means that I lose days as well! They say that it's pretty much "he said-she-said" and that there's "really nothing there" to be true. I want to know what my options are and what I can do to seek my version of justice? Thanx in advance.

im a single mother of a 4 1/2 yr old and the father whom isnt on the birth cert. has never seen my son only has paid child support when it was convinvent for him. well at least until i put a court order on him. But he has skipped state and isnt working anymore as of a month and im tired of this back and forth is there anyway that i can have the state terminate his rights? the only right he has is to pay child support but again the only way now is to track him down and force him into court again which is not only costly but it is also getting tiring. this has been a almost 5 yr battle with him and the only thing thats important to him is money

Recently something has really been bugging me for some time. I read about how many people choose to look a pictures of underage kids naked on their computer and get as much as 30 years in jail. Before i go on, i believe that anything sexual done to a kid is absoulutely unacceptable. So as for the distributors and the makers of child porn, they deserve their consequence because they are doing something to a child one way or another. The thing is i don't understand why someone deserves soo much time in jail for downloading even as little as a dozen pictures of underage kids off the internet. People have to understand that many pedophiles were born the way they are and that many of them were also abused as kids.
My solution for this is that people who are caught as pedophiles should be treated and helped. As long as they are not physically hurting a innocent child they should just be helped. Not jailed up and raped! : 0.
Many come back from jail and feel worthless and end up killin
