Thank you for your answers.I appreciate your opinions on the subject and being a combat veteran myself and a voter who actually voted for bush I feel in my heart that the iraq people or there government never posed a threat to the United States I also feel after speaking with many of my combat veteran brothers that we should leave Iraq.Wasn't most of the Hijackers in 911 from Saudi arabia yes I believe almost all of them where. So who should we be fighting.

lets see your 401k goes up at the cost of 3000 dead americans and another 6000 crippled hope that money spends well.I for one look at the stock market all the time and oil companies are reporting record earnings so hey if you want to make plenty of money like this guy invest in oil and maybe we can kill another 3000 americans and another couple 100000 iraqis isn't making money fun.

I agree with you.
You have Valid points.
however i would also add that since we closed the base in Sudia Arabia we are also using this as an opportunity to have a stratigic foothold through iraq....and of course...line some pockets...

I also believe the information presented to the people of the US was always know to be highly questionable and wrong.

This is a great documentary on the intellegence that got us there and the influence of cheney on the CIA

actually, the war has had little effect on overall earnings, and percentage of investment to profit has not even been up on the oil profits, an investment of the same money in Walmart would have bought you alot bigger profit per dollar invested.

And while every one relates Chaney's old company to him but he has been retired and is not part of that company.

But in many ways for the ild profit, most amerians with IRA or 401 K have made good money from the oil profits, since that is where alot of the money from them is invested. My own 401 K has done great.

Only in part. This is about power also. Pushing the envelope to see how much can be gotten away with right under the collective noses of the American people and the world.Look at the big picture. Peace.

Before you believe hurtful statements like that, and espouse them, you should ask the person speaking them to show you exactly how President Bush is benefiting financially from the Iraq war. Thankfully, most open minded people can see through statements like that for what they are, political rhetoric.

I am not sure about it.

As for MiMi97, hank never said that he believes that, so you shouldn't accuse him of believing that just for asking the question, without knowing if he believes that or not.

It's more about Bush not being smart enough to pick his battles wisely.
