North Korea is of no real threat to the US. They are however, a major problem for China and Japan. We should let those government take the lead in addressing this issue. No. Korea is trying to get the US to the table and get it to make concessions. That said it is one of the countries that might launch come what may so it is dangerous. Even if it did it might kill hundreds of thousands but it would the be ground down to sugmission so no - no way can they start WWIII.

No. They are just trying to scare everyone into giving them better economic deals. The fear with them should be them selling missiles or nukes. They can't sustain any conflict and the Chinese won't let them start one.
