You mean the ones currently in jail facing the death penalty if convicted? That sounds like accountability to me.

That's horrible. I hate hearing about that. Unfortunately when soldiers from any country are sent over seas, some of them take it as a license to do whatever they want. It's sick, but it happens.
I hope that little girl is going to be okay and I hope the bastards responsible get what they deserve.
But every country does that. There are sick people in every country who sign up for military service and then wreak havoc when they're in another country. So please don't assume that all Americans are that cruel. Most of us are sickened by actions like that and want justice for innocent people. Hopefully our military will be responsible and do something about it like they're supposed to.

Edit:
Oh okay. Well there you go. If he did it, he'll get what he deserves. We don't go easy on rapists over here either.

War is not nice-anywhere.

What makes you say there was no accountability? The guy was arrested and will be tried.

Or did you think Saddam deserves a trial, but this guy shouldn't get one?

Also, mainstream news said she was 15, but that is still no excuse for rape, of course.

What those men did was wrong, and we are going to punish them! They give us Americans a bad name. If it had been the Iraqis who had taken over America, do you think they would punish the men who had raped American women?

There is, they are being prosecuted. This makes me sick to hear for I am a former US solider. Unfortunately people like this are all around us and permeate all aspect of our lives. Remember its common for arab leaders and clerics to rape girls and boys.

I question the validity of your statement that one of the victims was nine. Nonetheless, if the men are guilty they should be brought to justice. But let's not forget the murder, genocide, and countless thousands of rapes that took place under the regime that the U.S. has ousted.

You're welcome.

what about Saddams sons raping and killing teenage girls for years before the troops showed up, I'm not condoning what happened, but should not be a focus for hate.

Uhhhh ....aren't they innocent until proven guilty in a court of law? Let's wait and see how it all washes out before we rush to judgement.
War is Hell.
