Well, they haven't done much of a job to date. I hear things are getting better. But I wonder.
I also heard that they popped a couple of guys for taking bribes (who were border patrol agents), from coyotes and others. At least one of em' had a Hispanic last name. Foxs watching the chicken coop kinda deal. Pobubly needs to be a real serious push to get more and better thangs going on in this arena. They need money, training and support from real players and to not give the jobs to a bunch of affirmative action types cuz it's politically correct to have the right percentages of this, that or the other race doing the job!
Cops could handle it. So could the military. Not politically correct though! Oh, well. There goes the US.

I think it is a joke. Even the fence they are just starting to put in is a joke. The National Guard is putting in a fence with rusty broken well casings etc in California that edges up against a sloping hillside your grandma could climb easily. It really looks pathetic.

The Minutemen have their own idea of a fence, which is much more like what we need, along with sensors, cameras, staffing and interior enforcement. https://secure.responseenterprises.com/mmfence/images/Fence_Idea_big.jpg

The border patrol and National Guard are doing all they can with what they have been given, but we need to give them better tools to use to do their jobs.

In my opinion they are doing their job and they can not stop the border and people will cross because, of the American standard of living and also 2000 tunnels that the drug lords create for drug trafficking I myself have no idea how to solve this problem. It is about time Mexican government and the American government work closely with each others and believe me we need all the help we can get from each other.

I think that it is a VERY BIG TANGENT. A device to distract from the real issues in this country.

They have a tough job. And most are very good men. They could use more support from our government.

Undermanned and undergunned. They need the ability to shoot trespassers on sight.
