How can it be OK to abort one fetus and not the other. This is a very christian way of thinking: without thinking things through all the way. What's next? Abortion is OK in case of Arab, Black, or any brown-eyed genes? You are horrible people to think this way, and not very "Christian"!

How can you say it is bad except in cases of rape? What makes it less "alive" or important, or human?

I am pro-choice by the way.

The U.S. Army, aiming to make its recruiting goals amid the Iraq war, raised its maximum enlistment age by another two years Wednesday.

People can now volunteer to serve in the active-duty Army or the part-time Army Reserve and National Guard up to their 42nd birthday, officials said.

It marked the second time this year the Army has boosted the maximum age for new volunteers, raising the ceiling from age 35 to 40 in January.

Will the Repuglicons sign up in record numbers now?

- Found Some WMD

About 500 artillery shells of Iraq/Iran war vintage with (degraded) Sarin component.
A couple of wacky Republicans are trying to make this into something.
So we've paid five soldiers lives and about $1 Billion per shell. (so far -- the meter is still running).

Meanwhile, a deal on the estate tax repeal is nearly complete, leaving more of the borrowed cost of this war on the shoulders of future working-class Americans. You don't expect the rich who inherit their vast wealth to pay for Bush's excesses do you? That would be unfair.
Of course the soldiers who go over there to die for the lies -- they and their families are paying a huge price. Someone has to do it so the top 1% can escape paying their fair share. Freedom ain't free, as you Bush Sheep like to say.

I'd really like to get an Idea of who people REALLY consider the best we've had based on accomplishments and not which end of the political spectrum the person hangs out in so I've excluded our current and immediate past president. And to be fair, here are mine in no particular order: Jefferson (Louisiana Purchase), Monroe (Monroe Doctrine), Polk (Texas and California), T. Roosevelt (Labor Reform and Environment) and Lincoln (Civil War).

The avian flu strain H5N1 was first isolated in human beings nine years ago in Hong Kong, and since that time, barely 100 people have died in the whole world. However, the world was alerted to the efficacy of the human antiviral Tamiflu as a preventative. Somebody is and will be making millions of dollars from the manufacturing of this drug which may not even necessarily be effective. http://www.mercola.com/2005/oct/25/rumsfeld_to_profit_from_avian_flu_hoax.htm and http://money.cnn.com/2005/10/31/news/newsmakers/fortune_rumsfeld/ So, how do you feel about this?
