For decades, the United States has pursued a de facto policy of exploiting and abusing immigrant labor, mostly from Mexico. It is hypocritical and un-American.
While many of us (especially those of us who are middle-class or wealthy) enjoy the benefits of low-cost labor, we have been unwilling to pass laws that make it easier for those laborers to get green cards or guest-worker visas. (If they achieved legal status, they might be unwilling to do unpleasant work for substandard wages.)
Nor have elected officials been willing to crack down on the businesses that hire illegal labor. Indeed, one of the reasons for our bipolar policy is that business interests pressure politicians to look the other way so they can continue to exploit cheap labor.
Mr. Bush's instincts on immigration tend to be progressive and forward-thinking. He told the American Society of Newspaper Editors on Thursday that he supports a policy that would put together "willing workers" and "willing employers." He also acknowledged that the backlash against immigration "encourages nativism and behavior that doesn't represent the way America should view the world." This is where racists, like many on answer.yahoo.com come in...
If business owners weren't so eager to hire undocumented workers, the workers would be less likely to run the risk of crossing the border illegally.
That is what should be done to end the problem.

Can everybody see what was said by the sleaze bucket about the gas chambers. Oh ya what a great American that is yup I sure think he should be here and poor Juan who works 15 hours a day in the hot sun so that he can bring home 300 a week to support his family should be kicked out. Grow up. These illegals are not going any where. So get used to it. I personally think that the illegals are making our economy much stronger. And Yes some of those illegals ARE paying taxes. I work in a tax office and surprise surprise there are more American who do not pay into and have thousands in back taxes. But like I say lets keep dirty old Mr. Smith Who molested Little 5 yr old Samantha. I want him as my next door neighbor.

1. Send them back and bill their country of origin for the transportation.
2. Tell them they can stay but they cannot work for wages...we'll gladly them them volunteer during the day and return home at night.
3. Shut down companies that facilitate the transfer of money from the USA into other countries. If the aliens can't send money home, maybe they'll work somewhere else.
4. Reward companies that hire 100% American citizens by lowering their tax burdens.
5. March our troops into the aliens' countries and annex the territories as American properties. Then the aliens will be citizens and we will have some new beaches to lay on.

if they are legal imigrants i dont care about what color they are or anything. but if they are illegal why should the get treated like citizens? thats like saying screw all the people that come in legaly. i say we loadem up and dump them on the other side of the rio grande! we nead to build a big wall and keep them out. if they spent more time thinking about how to fix there country instead of invading ours the world would be a better place. as for the illegals we should put barcodes on tyhere forheads and not take them off till they become legal. they would have to be scanned every time they go to school work or buy something. also they should not get a dime of welfare money. if the wetbacks wont pay taxes then let them starve. welfare is for citizens not for aliens. also if iraq iran or north korea invaded us we would blow the **** out of them so the mexicans are getting off easy
i also like what saleem k said. they cna fight in the army for 5 years and then get there citizenship(we would only do this to illegals)

The law says deportation is the penalty for being here illegally.
I would be open to some type of compromise in letting some of them stay if we could close the boarders and assure that no more illegals could enter.
They can never become citizens because that is our greatest asset as Americans and no law breaker should be rewarded with such a high honor.

Illegal aliens, and their supporters need to head back to their own countries before laws are put on the books that fines their home nation for the breach of our borders, deportation costs, and if other crimes were committed, more fines. Once this goes into place, the laws that are illegally on our books supporting these criminals, brought on by illegal voters, will be gone. And when they return ashamed, and deported, what is their government going to do to you when they want their money back.
I have estimated that just in border breach fines, More than $6,000,000.00 dollars will be fined to President Fox. Other fines will be added if other crimes were committed, like identity theft, and violent crimes, and child preditors.
If you don't want your government to turn on you, then go back before these laws go into place.
Illegals have taken too much of what they have not earned. And, Americans are fighting mad, and will have no more of it.
You are illegally in this country, you are a criminal that is all there is to it.

Why would anyone even think about not returning them to their native country? We keep missing out on the fact that laws are being broken. My identity has been stolen, I now have a huge mess to clean up, and the Attorney General of my state (he met with me and my husband this week) said it was most likely an illegal and that because of the "amnesty" mentality, likely nothing would be done to that individual. My gosh, they actually want to give them credit for any taxes paid into their stolen identities. Instead of giving them credit, use those monies and deport them to the farthermost point possible.
I do not have any warm fuzzies for people who continue to steal identities, wave the Mexican flag, demand rights and take to our streets like they can "intimidate" us into submission.
Send them back. If they have anchor babies give them a choice...take their children back to their homeland or put them up for adoption. It will be their choice.

I want all people that have come here illegally to go home, and I don't mean just Mexicans.
To: Crazy4beads Their are thousands of illegals that are criminals and they are filling our prisons, their are ms13 gang members coming here from El Salvador, and they are spreading and they are coming in with all the other illegal immigrants we have to stop this now, or we will turn into Mexico and the Cartel will be on our streets if they aren't all ready.

They are illegally in this country . What would you want done to someone that broke into your home and started using all that you had worked hard to help your family . If they just moved in and took your job , your food , your health care , and schools .Would you say that's OK , bring the rest of your family into my home too ? Or would you say go home and work for your own family , make your life better in your own home !!!
We'll send you home and your country can pay for it .

The Apache tribe agrees with Jose G except what does 50% blood or being married to a Mexican have to do with it. They are here as trespassers also. Why don't everybody go home!
