IT WILL TAKE A WHILE FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE HER A VISA NUMBER FOR HER TO BECOME A RESIDENT LIKE YOU ( IM NOT SURE MAYBE 3 YEARS) . BUT WHILE SHE IS WAITING FOR HER GREEN CARD (IF SHE IS ALREADY IN THIS COUNTRY) SHE IS ALLOWED TO WORK HERE LEGALLY, GET SOCIAL SECURITY, DRIVER'S LICENSE WHATEVER ELSE SHE NEEDS BECAUSE SHE IS WORKING. IF SHE IS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY I AM NOT TO SURE HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR HER TO COME HER AND GET A VISA BUT YOU CAN DEFENETLY BRING HER HERE TO THE US. ASK A LAWYER FOR THAT PART IM NOT SURE. You must have been a permanent resident for at least five years, your wife can file on her own, you don't have to file for her.

typically it takes 5 years.... you can start applying for your wife now.... it may take a long time.... but if you become a citizen you could bump up your case..... if in doubt consider a lawyer.... good luck.... hope it works out!
