I just got a bunny, and he was fine. My brother got into his cage, grabbed him, and threw him. He wasn't hurt, but he stopped drinking last night, and he hasn't eaten either. He has also had bad diarhea. I am pretty sure he's gonna die. Is he? What can I do? I can't go to the vet, I have school and my mom is always working. We only have time on the weekends, and it's Monday. Thanx

My guinea pig recently died, and I was very sad. Mornings just aren't the same anymore without him squeeking up a storm.

I want something else now, but not a guinea pig because of their high maintenance. I want something with life in it, not a bird, hamster, reptile etc. But I can't think of something that I can bond to that doesn't require a lot of maintenance. Can someone please give me some suggestions?

I am moving my pet rabbit from downstairs in the garage up to my room. I have heard that rabbits could die if you changed there surroundings. Is it true?

I have two dogs and everyday I fight the fur-battle. I do what I can to manage the shedding but I have been known to spend inordinate amounts of time attempting to eradicate every pet hair I can find.

My husband says that pet hair is to be expected since we have pets.

I have been to people's homes where hair is insane and everywhere and also where you wouldn't know a dog/cat lived there. So what is your strategy?

Here's the evidence:

1. She never comes out of her igloo if I'm in the room unless I'm COMPLETELY still and silent.

2. She SQUEALS like the dickens when I refill her food or water bowl.

3. She refuses to let me pick her up and I have to chase her around the cage for at least 15 minutes.

4. She goes spastic if I get too close to her cage. She runs around her cage a few times, then pounces bak into her igloo, and squeals as loud as she can.

5. She poos on me and keeps me up until midnight with all her noise.

I've had her for about 5 or 6 months. I've tried to play with her but she won't let me touch her. I feed her and water her every day, clean her cage every week, buy her special vitamin drops and bedding, bathe her regularly, etc. etc. etc. And she still hates me. WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

She mated with another bunny and she is collecting hay and building a nest. She is also harder to get out of her hutch. She wants to stay still.

I have two rabbits, a small male and a larger female. Both are not neutered. There doesn't seem to be any huge conflicts between the two of them, although my female rabbit will often run away when my male rabbit tries to get too close or starts sniffing her butt. The big problem, however, is that my male rabbit is constantly peeing on my female rabbit. She's a white bunny, so her fur stains terribly and it's now almost completely yellow. I give her baths, but it doesn't help because he always just pees on her again.

I don't want to separate them because we keep them in the yard in the mornings and putting up a fence would be a major hassle. I also want to encourage them to be friends. How do I get him to stop peeing on her and is there anything I can do to help them become better bunny friends?

My rabbit seems to be sneezing all the time. She makes weird snuffling/snorting sounds and is constantly shaking her head. I think she's sneezing or trying to get rid of phlegm in her nose, cause when I'm nearby, sometimes I can feel moisture from when she's shaking her head. It's been going on for a couple of months at least. Is this normal behavior? Is there anything sold in pet stores that deals with this? Should I take her to the vet?
