It would truly stun me if they didn't. They have personalities, emotions, memories, intelligence, can be fiercely loyal & adorably playful. When I look into a cat's eyes, I see more than instinct & appetite.
BTW, I don't believe that the Bible says outright that animals don't have souls but this has been a matter of debate.

Yes, they do. I noticed that some say that the Bible says they don't but those verses are taken out of context. You need to consider that and remember that the modern Bible does not contain all holy scripture that was written by God's prophets. Other scripture clarifies what the Bible says about animals having souls.

The book of Abraham (book included in some Middle Eastern culture as well as LDS scripture) clearly describes a more detailed account of the creation and in it we learn that everything has intelligence of different degrees (or spirits) - animals and plants, too. How else would something like grass live?

Yes, animals definitely have souls. Oh, and next time your eat a salad, remember to also thank God for the life that was sacrificed to feed you. :)

Yes animals have souls. One can tell by the way an animal acts. Just look at the way ones cat knows when one is not feeling well and will come comfort his owner, or the way a puppy will jump with joy when his owner gets home. As for the bible that book is full of contradictions and is a book of morels not a book of facts.

If we have souls then so do animals, cause humans are animals in a sence. Why would you even want to know this, are you trying to remove your pets soul for some ritual or somthing? Jk jk

Alot of people have challenged me about the very same question. Personally I believe they do because just like people they have a brain and a personality and a spirit, so I believe they too have souls.

They most certainly do!! Because in the Bible it says that the souls of beasts yearn to be with the Lord.

i beleive they do even though it says in the bible they dont how can you explain the different behaviors of an animal? how you see an animal risk their life for something they love such as a human companion or even each other. many people say this is instinctual but i disagree.

no, they do not. they have no conscious, they do not know what sin is, they are incapable of accepting christ into thier heart, but they do have personality.
but if your asking if they will be in heaven, i believe they will. They are gods creation, we love them, and heaven is the perfect place. With animals and all. They'll be there.

Yes - but Christians who tell us they don't definitely don't have souls. And those that dump their pets at shelters for lame reasons and most politicians don't have souls, either.
