I was thinking about getting a fennec fox for my son for christmas is there a breeder in cinncinati ohio or near cinci?
also how much would one be?

This is the only breeder I could see in Ohio. Perhaps you can contact this breeder and see what permits you need to keep fennecs in Ohio.

Fennec Foxes are wild animals and hardly suitable as a pet. They are not dogs! They cannot breed with dogs either. Foxes cannot be housebroken nor do they tame down to become a pet. They also smell very strong. If you like dogs that look a bit foxy, think about getting a Spitz or another similar breed.

What a great idea!!!! Teen boy down the road got bitten by his BADLY and had a major trip to the ER last week. Since bite had to be reported to Dept of Health, and they are not legal to own in the area, it was seized!!!
They paid $3000 for it about 6 months ago!!!! Oh well!! Easy come, easy go!!
