i have a pet hamster and she tends to chew on her plastic food bowl and her plastic running wheel and her plastic hut thing. i have things for her to chew on like a wooden toy thing and i give her treats that she can chew on but she doesnt like them. is chewing on all that plastic ok for her? how do i get her to stop?

How old is the hampster? If she is still young, she probably is teething. Anything feels great to chew on when this happens. Same for babies, kittens and dogs.

Hamsters are rodents and their teeth constantly grow. They need to chew to wear them down. Get a ceramic bowl, metal wheel and a wooden house. Then if she chews it, it's not a problem.
