I was just walking on 44th and 6th ave, and there is a man asking for money with 2 cats and 2 dogs! These animals look like they are in good shape, and 3 out of 4 of them had a sweater on, but they were still cold! There was even a dog without anything on! Is it legal for this man to be using these animals as bait?

I had some coins in my pocket from Canada, and I told him these are Canadian coins is that ok? and he said yes.. a few minutes later, i walked by again, and I saw him picking coins out of the bucket and throwing them in the street! I was so angry. I walked by and said "did someone throw fake coins in or something?" and he goes "no someone threw in foreign coins!". i said it was me, and i thought he said it was ok..so he said "oh thanks anyway i appreciate it". i asked him what the money was for and he sort of mumbled something I didn't completely hear.

Anyway, I got a very bad impression from this man and think this is disgusting.

Hi, I just recently bought a BLM mustang (already trained) gelding. I've trained him to the point where he listens to all my cues and respects my space. He's very gentle and calm too. But when I ride him or work with him in the round pen, i don't have any of his focus. He's constantly looking at the barn where the other horses are and he occassionally tries to run back. He acts extremely 'stallion-ish' and is extremely extremely dominant with the other horses, but hes fine with people. My question is how do i get his focus in the arena and keep it? No matter what I do, his attention is towards the barn. We're going to have a blood test to see if he was maybe proud cut, but are there any other suggestions about this problem? Is this a prominent problem in BLM mustang geldings? or is it just him?

I need arguments for yes, and no.
I have to write this essay, and even though I'm neutral, my teacher says you HAVE TO pick a side. So, I need people to help me.
So I say it's wrong to keep pets? Or should I say it's alright to keep pets? And why? This has to be a 700 word essay and I have no arguments what so ever. The fact that I don't keep a pet doens't help, either.

The more opinions, the better. I really need examples, too.

So this is your challenge for this week, to answer this question.
Is it wrong to keep pets when so many humans in the world are starving? and WHY????

...thanks...(I REALLY NEED THIS)

I love dogs, cats, and other furry animals, but I'm afraid of snakes and other reptiles. Will that prevent me from being hired at a pet store?

My 6 year old wants a pet...not a cat, dog, hamster, fish or bunny...a danged hedge hog! (I half expected a tiger or a hippo.) I don't think he is ready...what's a good pet to start him out on for a year before I move up to a hedgehog? And what kind of hedgehog info can you give me? I think they're pretty cute, but I've never met one or anyone who has one. I don't want to go into this blindly and have the little thing die or get sick because I was clueless.

I found it outside several days ago and it was doing well. I saw it around the front door for 3-4 days and then the next day I found him further out in the rock garden and he was very lethargic ( I suspect from the cold-low 40's). It is in the house now but still very lethargic, almost dead. Is there anything I can give it for it to survive or is death imminate at this time of year?

I'm doing a semester project on Premarin HRT and the conditions in which the horses live to be able for this drug company to amass great profits. Anything else about your connection with your horse would be good too. I want to portray how horses give us a sense of self and how deep connections people can have with horses. Thanks!

It's not the clearest photo but I was a little nervous as he already fell on me once when I was using my phone to take a photo. Needless to say I grabbed my digi so I could keep a little distance. As long as he's not poisonous, I don't mind him being there. He's webbing my window! I think spiders are awesome I just need to make sure he isn't going to hurt my kids.

My rabbits cage is cleaned daily, and I have used differnt kinds of bedding. The rabbit was given to me about a year ago, and the woman I got him from said his feet got that way when she had him.

I recently bought a ferret because I have wanted one for a long time, and he is the sweetest little guy ever. My husband was not sure about him at first but within a few short days he fell in love with him too. The problem, however, is my mother-in-law. She does not know anything about ferrets and automatically decided that she does not like him at all. She has begun making rude comments to me and tells me how she thinks it is ridiculous that I have a "rat" for a pet.
It angers me to no end that she is being so disrespectful and mean. Does anyone have any opinions as far as what I can say to her to get her to shut up or does anyone know any good websites where I can get info to show her that ferrets are in fact very good animals?? I know she is basing her opinion on the fact that she just does not like ferrets and she does not have any real facts to back up anything that she says.

My gelding gets turned on when I hug him and pet him...is this because he's horny? Or just relaxed?
Please don't take this the wrong way, seriously people grow up.

he has eat the same food for the past 2 bags i bought, then he started leaving the pellets and only eating the seeds and dried flakes. so i changed him back to just the normal pellets that he used to eat from a baby until about 3 months ago and now he wont eat them either. he seems to have gone off lettuce and spinach and carrots too.
