I am looking for a bobcat kitten to own as a pet. Please help me find breeders in or near Oklahoma. Thank you.

Actually it is legal to own a bobcat in oklahoma. The requirement is licensing. It is only illegal to own wild cats over 50lbs.

exoticcatz.com lists breeders, and if there isn't one on there I'm sure someone could point you to one on the forum or list. I'm assuming you know of all mid sized exotic cats, bobcats have a reputation for being the most aggressive and have planned for if it's not tame at all. I have a high f bengal (i think that's what he is anyway... spotty and swims) I rescued and even hand raised he attacks people at times. Bites me lots and hard. And that's witha hybrid cat. Something to think about.

Bobcats are not pets. If you want something that looks exotic and has a wild streak, get a Bengal cat, or something similar. They are not only beautiful but they are very playful and energetic. At least they are semi-domesticated.

I agree with the answerer below me, Bengal cats are gorgeous. I forgot about them, because I don't have a lot of knowledge on exotic cats .. So, pick her for best answer! :)
