You have a disaster on your hands if you don't fix this now. Take her to obedience classes NOW, and work with her everyday. It's the only solution, unless you're going to read training books and do it yourself - which is an acceptable second option but not as good as the first. I had friends that had an uncontrollable pit bull and she was just plain ANNOYING. We were not only annoyed at the dog but at her owners as well because they took in a dog that they have no clue how to train. It came to the point to where they lost patience with the dog, she got out of the house AGAIN and went wandering through the neighborhood, and they never picked her up from the humane society - just left her there. You are going to get SICK of her unless you commit to this now. You've taken the first step by recognizing the problem - so now you can fix it! Once it's all said and done I'm sure she'll be a great dog. Good luck!

Ok i have owned a lot of pitbulls. people think they r the worst animal to have but in reality they r not. Depends on how you bring them up. I had 4 of them eating in a bowl all together with out fighting i could put my hand in the bowl and they would stop eating to see what i was doing no sign of aggression. Anyway they way i made them they way they were was i brought them up since 6 wks and up. First of all is she a pup. If so you have to teach her when you call her have a toy or maybe a treat infront of you.Throw the a toy in the cage and once she enters give her a treat and tell her that she did good. All dogs are hard headed but you need a little time its like everything you cant make a baby walk before he crawls you know

First off you have to remember she is a dog!
She thinks like a dog not a human!
If you want her to go in her cage (crate) you have a few options... treats, toys, wear her out by exercise and play!
Pitts need a good bit of hard exercise, ( at the VERY least) 30 to 60 minutes a day !
A bored Pitt is disaster waiting to happen!
Ceaser's Way is a great book he also has DVD's I would suggest you get them and have everyone in your family watch them! Many times people get dogs and forget they think like dogs not humans. It creates more problems, NOT a happy dog!

Here is my advice!
Keep her on a leash at all times!! no matter how well trained she becomes( people will ALWAYS blame a Pitt for a problem so don't put that on her shoulders, its YOUR responsibility as the OWNER!!)
Give her LOTS of exercise time, walk her till her tongue is dragging the floor!! Usually a first walk of two hours will do the trick, have someone help you if you can't do the full two hours.
Never let her not listen to you!
Do not yell or scream at her. Talk to her firmly but kindly!
NEVER let her fight another dog or any other animal, Its cruel!!!
Take her to a training class if you get stuck and can't do it yourself!
Pitts can be GREAT dogs if properly handled, trained, loved, and supervised!
If your not willing to take the time to do right by her give her to someone who will, she will thank you forever!l!
Good luck!!

If you don't know how to train a pit bull, you'd better get rid of it now. When she's bigger--90 lbs., she's not going to care what you want her to do, and she'll become the boss.
