Well, we bought one month supplies of Frontline at the vet for all the animals in the house, 5 dogs (2 outside 3 inside), 2 cats and 1 kitten and 1 ferret (we used kitten frontline for the kitten and ferret) So anyway, the Frontline almost killed my kitten, we had to rinse it all off for like 10 minutes and then we took him to the vet, he's fine now, but the other animals still have fleas. So the Frontline is crap. It's just a waste of our money. (In case you are wondering how we got one month supplies, our vet carries Frontline and he sells one capsule at a time so people can see if it works for their pets, if so, then you can go back to his office and buy a new whole box) (and also if you are wondering if we gave the kitten the wrong type, we read on the packaging "For Cats, 0-5 lbs.", our other cats got "For Cats, 5-10 lbs.") The kitten is 12 weeks. So has Frontline ever worked for you or so you have a story like mine? Which other brand HAS worked for you?

I have a pet rabbit living in a cage in our back yard. Every so often a family of opossums comes by to eat fruit from our fig tree. But, I am afraid that they may turn their attentions from our fig tree to our pet rabbit. These opossums can easily tear thru the cage if they wanted to. Any suggestions what to do?

Most of the litter out there for ferrets doesn't work well at all. I wondered if it's ok to use non toxic cat litter pearls. Has anyone tried this type with any success?

Earlier this evening, I went to go feed my hermit crabs and I saw these termite looking things in the tank everywhere. They were breeding in it! Will they harm my hermit crabs? Anyways, when I went to go take out the one on the surface, I saw that my other hermit crab's (i have 2) shell was right by my other crab. It wasent there a few hours ago so he must have dug his way up to the surface after 5 weeks in the sand! Well Hermie (the one I went to take out) was now in my other crabs shell. Its so confusing! So where is my other one if he is not in his shell but he dug his way up to the surface, then got out of his shell and Hermie got in? Will he die if he runs around without a shell? I already took Hermie out into a spare cage just untill we clean it out and get all the bugs out. But will my other crab find another shell or should I look for him more? Will he be alright? I really dont want him to die.

After a long and happy life, my cat had serious liver problems (perhaps from that tainted pet food scandal) and recently died and broke my heart. I spent a fortune at the vet and hand fed it and subQ hydrated it and gave it medicine etc, but it prolonged its life only so long. I wish I could have saved it longer. Now I don't want to get a new cat in the near future. What else should I get?

I have tried so many different home remedies and store bought products in the past week. And honestly they have gotten even worse since I treated my house. I am debating whether to get a teminator to come kill them or buy a product and do it myself. I want to go with the cheapest most effective method. The cheapest terminator I found was $70 for two sprays. If you list any products please tell me if you have used them the price and how effective they are. Thanks!!!

Well I saw in a magazine about pygmy rabbits. They are the smallest rabbits in the world. Well, it said they were close to extenction, but people rescued them and bred them to help the population. Well, I know they are wild rabbits, but I wanted a rodent ( like a Chinchilla, cute and cuddly) but that doesnt have as many needs, like the temperature. I was looking in a rabbit, but the ones i looked at were too big. I want a really small rabbit (like a pygmy rabbit). I also want to adopt or rescue one, so if anyone knows of any good rabbit rescues (I've already looked at petfinder) please list them. The last thing I want to end up doing is buying a rabbit from a breeder or pet store. Also, if anyone knows of any other rodents (except hamsters, guinea pigs) that I could play with and cuddle with, please list them.
I have a cockatiel, 1 dog, and 2 hermit crabs, so I need a small, playful rodent. Thanks!!

Like if they even start to bark or get on some furniture or whatever, she blasts one of those loud-a$$ed canned air horns at them. First, it's annoying as hell if you're over there and don't know that the pet just did something and all of a suddent you hear some loud blast. But second, don't you think this is mean? Because then every dang animal in the house ducks down all terrified like they think they're the one who did something bad. She has 2 dogs and 3 cats. I feel like reporting her, but is this really cruel?

I adopted him from the pound a year ago and they said he was chihuahua/shiba inu mix but he weighs over 15 lbs. and that seems big for a chihuahua. He has a curly tail and a wrinkly forehead and he makes weird sounds and hardly ever barks like a Basenji so now I'm not sure what he is! Here are some pictures:

when I took my kids to the fair today we went to see the animals at the FFA Childerens barn and there was a calf that was about 2 weeks old, (according to the paper above that had the calves name and the owners name) they had solid food for him and water, is a 2 week old calf even old enough to be eating solid food? Should'nt he still be drinking his moms milk? The poor thing looked so thin.
