Certainly, have a neighbour's family, all children played with a cat who had a ring worm, now they all have it, too!
Go to the doctor at once.

well a cat can give you ring worm, since they are a common animal to get the disease. I don't think it is possible for you two pass it on to your cat. But you should see a vet and a doctor about it so that you can get a cream to treat it. And make sure to keep the infected area covered up at all times, so that it doesnt spread anywhere else on your body, or to anyone you know.

Yes, they were alive. These worms attach themselves to either the cats stomach lining, or intestinal wall. The worms will then consume a great deal of the cats food, taking away from vital nutrients. Kittens are born with worms, passed on from the mother. Cats can get tapeworms from fleas, and also from ingesting worm eggs via plants, rodents, insects, feces, and even dirt. Judging by your description, it sounds like tapeworms. Your vet will need to determine what type of worm it is and how badly your cat is infested. Your vet will prescribe a de-wormer, and your cat will be fine, IF thats the problem. They also sell de-wormer over the counter in feed stores and pet stores that does a good job, but like I said, I recommend you take him to the vet.

Possible, but not very likely - more or less depending on the strain. Most types of ringworm can only take hold if something has impaired the local immune defense of the skin - such as cuts or scrapes, 'heat rash' and such. The most common place for ringworm from pets to show up is the inside of the forearm. If the cat gets ringworm, it will most likely show up first on the face. Ringworm is highly treatable.

yes it is possible but just to let you know ( if you don't know already ) ring worm is not actually a worm, it is just a fungus, all you will need to do is get a topical creme from your doctor to get rid of it.

It's possible. If you have ringworm use an anti-funges cream like something for athletes foot. To see if your cat has ringworm go to a dark room and shine a blacklight on its fur and in between its paws. Green light indicates ringworm.

yes, animals pass it to humans ! you just need some antifungal medicine from the pharmacy if you have it ! And take your pet to get treated. Its is not really a worm though!! it"s a fungus and other animals and people can get it from a pet that has it , so it needs to be treated !!
