Animals are lesser beings than us therefore giving us the authority to test products on them that will benefit us. If it will possibly help the life of a human, it shouldn't matter how many rats, mice, or bunnys should have to be tested on to do so. Animals may feel pain during the test, but the reality of it is that 80% of all animals in labs will die there or be euthanized after ward, therefore it does,t matter much if they are in pain becuase they are going to die anyways.Animals are lesser beings than humans, so they should not have the same rights.

i have a large, two level rat cage that houses 5 female rats. their platforms are the hard plastic. i need something that i can wipe and disinfect everyday because they defacate on it and i don't want them walking around in that kind of stuff. i've used unscented baby wipes but it doesn't take the smell away. i've even used a wet wash cloth. does anyone have any great suggestions? my rats refuse to use a litter pan. they just sleep in it. crazy rats....

Actually it was my brother's guinea pig. We got her when she was about a month old I think. Maybe it was four months. Anyways, it was August 2006 and she died a couple days ago. She was normally quite vocal. My brother would go in his room and she would start sqealing. If he wasn't at home, she would be quiet. Then about a week before she died, she would just sit by her waterbottle (full) and not do anything. Why did she die?

I made banana chocolate chip muffins, and my 3 lb lop-eared bunny got ahold of it. I heard that chocolate can kill dogs, and now I'm worried about Mr. Muncha! Bunnies also cannot throw up, so I'm wondering if I should take him to the vet. He's not acting strangely, but I'm scared he will just flop over and expire! Anyone know whether chocolate will actually kill him

Does that mean there was something wrong with the last living baby or does that mean this particular female is gonna be a bad mom. Should I even tempt to breed her back. I really wanted babys from her the dad is not related to her hes a two year old buck Breed Dutch Rabbit, Smokey is 1 yr old crossbreed of a Rex, Jersey woolie cross. If i breed them back how many days should I wait before I put The male back with her.

My roomate just freed two mice from a sticky trap (the ones with the glue). They still have glue on thier fur and one of thier legs is broken, but they're alive and unstuck. Will they survive?
Don't ask why she had the traps if she didn't want them to die. I don't know. But I'll feel terrible if they die.

People say it is painless and it is okay for indoor cats. But I can't imagine any animal having it's claws taken out without having pain. Are claw covers better?
