Don't get 1.They are not really pets.

You need a licence from your local council to keep 1.To get such a licence you must be 18,have a vet willing and qualified to treat it,a large enclosure for it(they cannot be allowed to run free as they can't be toilet trained and are destructive.)You also have to be an expert on all their needs-are you?

They need a complex diet and without the company of a large group of their own kind they get bored and destructive.

People who want to keep such pets give animal lovers a bad name.

Hey, I dont know about the UK, but there popular pets in Spain (expensive tho €2000)

I dont disagree with pet monkeys providing they have been bred in captivity, bought from a breeder (not a dodgy dealer) and cared for properly.

Sorry cant be more help, if you fail on a monkey, consider a ferret.. there completly mental pets.. there ace!!

They are not pets are they really? Unless you have an enclosure for it rather than a cage.
