I am giving my childrens hamsters away to some people I work with. I was wandering will they act any differently to them as they do to me. Will they be just as nice or get scared being around someone new?

There are rarely ferrets at our local animal shelter, and I don't want to adopt from a pet store that supports puppy mills. (Right now I'm leaning towards a Petland in my area.) If I ask the store and they DO buy from mills, they will probably lie or skip around the question. Is there somewhere I can go on the internet to find out what pet store gets their puppies from mills?

Why is that? Why is it that people insist on being so damn rude in the this forum. Other forums are nowhere near this rude. I ask you before you answer to watch your answers. Dont forget there are young minds and the innocent of heart asking questions they need some one to answer like responsible adults not like a pack of wolves.

I am looking into getting one and I just want to know if it will run up the aquarium side every time i open the lid to feed it and fill the water dish or if once it settles into its new home it will pretty much stay in its burror or on the floor of the cage.

When we got her as a tiny puppy (she still is a puppy) she found one of our acts and they have been buddies ever since. But we think that her cat buddy got scared (He is super shy, and scared) and ran away.

I read these questions and wonder why anyone thinks a bit is what they need to get their horse to behave. If you can't get your horse to preform in a halter at all you want it to do, then you should fire your trainer. Horse move off seat and little let, why is it people use different and harsh bits, is it just stupidty?

ok my hermit crab is acting weird he is like burtin himself 2 or 3 inches in the dirt in his aqurium but he will cme out and crawl around and when you pick him up he acts normal he has been doin this for about 1 month or a little longer and i dont know what to do.. i didnt think he was molting cause he will come out when you mess with him. well if u need 2 know anything else message me

ok i have a family of gerbils and the mother had babies (5) and so i've had them for a while now but like a few weeks ago the babies and the dad killed the mom and ate her!!! and then 2 weeeks later the babies killed the dad and ate him!!! just today i found out they just killed another baby gerbil and ate part of him. i dont know whats going on i give them food but why are they still eatting one another? im scared to put my hands in.. what should i do plz help me!

I just adopted 2 ferrets about a year old and I'm not so sure that one of them is eating properly. We have tried 3 different foods and she doesnt seem to eat much. I'm extremly worried I would like her to put on some weight and gain a little bit of energy. I was wondering what would be the best choices of foods and treats to buy for them.

When you get a new pet like a conure and you know that bottle feeding is bonding time with the baby but your parents are too lazy to take you what do you do or how would you react?

Does anyone in the world believe animals should be free and wild? I mean I don' t mean all horses to the wild but I believe that horses that are wild stay in the wild. I also believe that we must leave enough space for the horses to survive. I cry everyday when I think of horses that are being slaughtered or being treated badly. I know that one day all horses will be free and wild again.If anyone feels like that, PLZ answer and give a short story of ur point of view. I want to know many who are like me.
