Why is that? Why is it that people insist on being so damn rude in the this forum. Other forums are nowhere near this rude. I ask you before you answer to watch your answers. Dont forget there are young minds and the innocent of heart asking questions they need some one to answer like responsible adults not like a pack of wolves.

Sadly, you are correct.
I came here to answer questions on cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, gerbils, and my favorite pet, rats. I found so many rude questions/answers pertaining to our beloved rodent pets that I decided that if I was going to stay here I would limit my time, and my effort, to answering just questions on rat care.
Don't dispair, there are some really good, and knowledgable people here who are making an honest effort to educate the public on pet care.

I don't agree with you. I have been on other sites that can be equally as rude. I have found some questions that have arisen on this site mind-boggling. It's amazing that some people come up with some really twisted questions. Some questions that are asked,should be on an adult site. I have found some people quite thoughtless on this site, but that can be seen in many big cities throughout the US. I think it all boils down to what kind of manners (if any) that a specific person has been raised with.

I wish you would have put this question in a better catagory so more people would see it. Poeple act like this because their identity is sealed. They insult us on the internet because they have little or no class. Someone who might be talkin about you could be your best friend in real life. All you reall y have to do is report these people and yahoo should handle it. Some of the punishments are taking points away for bad answers, deleting their answers and sometimes suspending them from the site. Just remember that most of these people are on here for a good time. I know I am.

Because people in general suck. They can have autonomy on this forum without repercussions for the most part.
If they were in person and these questions were asked, most would be polite and would hide the inner demon inside.
The same goes for most drivers on the road. They think that it is there right to be ahead of everyone else and they can cut you off or take the parking space you were waiting for because they have that safe autonomy behind the wheel.
People are not good....I am sick of the human race.

Baby is right, it's mostly self-esteem issues. Why do they bring their problems here? Who knows, but if they want to be so low that they come here and insult people, let them. It wont do them any good in the future and it doesn't make them look toughter either.
You think people here are rude? Check out the diet and fitness categories.. People calling people 'fatasses' and all kinds of things...

The same reason people key cars.They're also the same people who call the wrong number and ask "Who is this?" They like to think they're getting away with something. It's sadism at it's most petty level. We ( I include all who share the spirit of inquiry that know how important it is to be civil) all thank you for this reminder.

Unfortunately most people nowadays lack confidence and self esteem. Therefore they need to make other people look worse than themselves to look better or feel better about themselves. I think that if we could all admit that we have a lot to learn and opened our ears and minds the world would be a better place.

It's not so bad.. I have seen a whole lot worse out there... Eventually people get to where they are afraid to ask and the whole thing shuts down.
The ones that ruin things are the ones that ask questions that they know are ridiculous.. You know the ones...
