I've got lots already but for the past number of years I've rescued old dogs...there's just something about them...I love caring for them and I don't have any old 'boys' at the moment. I'm feeling really broody!

Just to clarify : we Brits say broody usually when we get the urge to have a baby, but I'm broody for another animal!!

Aussies call it clucky as well. I am very clucky at the moment! My two best wildlifer mates have both gotten kangaroo joeys this week, and it makes me want another so bad! Even though I already have two still on bottles and another trying to take over the house! I know I must be mad!

I always want a new animal to help. For a while I tried breeding gerbils but then I began seeing them in shelters. Now I rescue privately and am looking to foster for local rescues or shelters.

not sure what broody means, but i get an "itch" to help other animals frequently. if you feel it, that would be a wonderful thing to do.

That's mighty kind of you. However, wouldn't it be good to feel a little macho now and again? And if I may say so, I'm proud of you for taking these animals on. Especially the older ones that no one ever seems to want.
