I made banana chocolate chip muffins, and my 3 lb lop-eared bunny got ahold of it. I heard that chocolate can kill dogs, and now I'm worried about Mr. Muncha! Bunnies also cannot throw up, so I'm wondering if I should take him to the vet. He's not acting strangely, but I'm scared he will just flop over and expire! Anyone know whether chocolate will actually kill him?

Chocolate is toxic for bunnies, watch his poop to make sure it stays hard (like its supposed to). I'd call the vet immediately and give him lots of hay and water. Timmothy hay helps with their digestive systems, they should have an unlimited supply of it daily...Make sure he gets water too!

Chocolate is toxic to rabbits as well as dogs, and many other animals. Hopefully he didn't eat many chocolate chips, but I would call your veterinarian just to be safe. Especially since he is only three pounds- the smaller the animal the higher the risk, even in small amounts.

The worst thing that could happen to a Bun is Diarrhea.
So, if Mr.Muncha has this make sure he drinks a lot lot of water and make him eat well.
I don't think chocolate will kill.
Hope not...
Good luck.

Thats an excellent question .. Your bunny could be ok or u could could desire to attend to ensure it comes out the different end or not. so which you definately could desire to invite your Vet. he will instruction manual you as what to do or to not do or in spite of in case you would be able to desire to convey them into the workplace.., good success!!
