I can put like 4 or 5 paper towl rolls together and hold them streight up and my hamster will crawl streight up. Can i teach him commands?

I used to own a horse, but we had to sell him. Now I am thinking of leasing a horse, as opposed to buying one.
Is that a good way to save money, and can anyone give me an "average" cost of leasing?

recently at my mom's house she buried our dog of 14 yrs, and a gerbil of 3 yrs. My mother has taken it pretty hard, what should I do? I would like to get her a new pet but she is adamant about not doing that, so I won't. She won't let anyone take the gerbil cage out and the dog food is still on the kitchen floor. I know she needs to grieve, but what should I do?

Fainting goats have a genetic condition called Myotonia that causes their muscles to stiffen to the point where they can't move when they are startled or excited, and therefore they fall over and look like they have fainted (they do not actually lose consiousness). People that raise them say that it doesn't hurt them. Another example would be the Munchkin and Polydactyl cats. People pay big bucks for animals with these defects. In your opinion is it ethical?

my sister says for my pregnant hamster i should put dried dogfood to build up on strenth is this true also she said i should give her a little corn pops and cheerios i dont know but dont start telling me about the babies and stuff im a hamster breeder and this is her 2end batch so what do u think ?

i bought my 2 guinea pigs together back in september 2006, they both get along very well.
they are in a big spacey cage and sometimes when it's sunny they play around in the grass in my back garden.

they are both very different from each other, Poochini, he is very shy and a bit of a coward, Pikachu, he is very witty, naughty and quick.

I was wonderin if it would be a good idea to get a female guinea pig?
