What kind of squirrel? There are flying squirrels (gliders actually) and gray squirrels can make some pretty big leaps between trees. Maybe he was jumping from a window sill to a tree branch, light pole, porch roof, etc.

maybe it thought it was a flying squirrel, hehe
unless you seen it go splat i doubt if its dead thry bounce pretty good and dont normally do stuff they cant survive from
