She has had Gizmo for 3 years, she rescued him from his previous owners who used to kick/beat and set him on fire!

He generally is a happy dog now, loves meeting people, has learnt a few commands which he does well, he just seems to have a problem when she tries to get him to lie down or to sit as he starts growling and showing his teeth, he has gone for her before as well.

I dont think its a question of dominance as he is quite a submissive dog otherwise. Does anybody have any ideas on what to do? Any tips/tricks etc.. gratefully accepted!

i got my hamster one of these hamster hammocks (never buy them btw...death trap!) and Basil (the hamster) managed 2 wake the house up by screaming his little head off cuz he managed 2 get his foot caught in it some how. anywayz, my bf had to cut the poor bugger free and having only just caught him agn 2day (he bolted 4 it as soon as his leg was free) i've only just seen that my enstine bf has cut his foot, the vet said it was fine n just needed 2 b kept clean and told me how to clean him and i've done it very well once. unfortunatly the plonka's gone n manged 2 pee on his cut n got wood shavings n everything in it so i need 2 clean it agn, but he won't let me at him! i wuld ask bf 2 do it but he kinda got drunk n passed out at someones house. i'm pregnant and Basil donesn't seem to like my sent anymore n keeps trying 2 bite me, any ideas on how i can wash it wiv out gettin bitten 2 pices?

I want a playful pet that wont get lonely too fast. I love cudling with pets so I dont want to squish it. I want a medium-big pet none of the small hamster business. I want a pet that will play. I know I'm being specific but does anyone have some ideas?

Does anyone know a website I can look up how many pets I can have in my own house? This guy in our neighborhood just moved in and called the authorities on everyone who has noisy dogs and they took away my neighbor's pets because he had more then 6! I have 5 dogs that stay outside but they are disaplined and kno not to bark unless there is a stranger so the jerk didn't call the authorities on us. But I need to kno a website that can tell me if this law is real that I cant have more then 6 pets, INSIDE my home even if they are quiet inside cats! its crazy

It would have to be easy to take care of (it will be alone for up to 8 hours), not too expensive to take care of (it's ok if the animal itself is a bit expensive), and fun (I want to play with it, so no fish). Also, I hate snakes and spiders.

I am a big fan of western horse show and I am thinking about to join in the show with my second horse. I was going to show my very first horse but she died and I am still hurting by her death. my second horse is my frist horse best friend and I am thinking about show her. so what can I do to be in the show and do I need trainning or so whatever?

hey guys i need your halp naming this little guy. i have a 6 1/2 month old baby paint horse, he is mostly white with some brown or black (we arnt shure withch yet cus his coat is changing colors) on his head and one side. he has 2 blue eyes. he is verry sweet and willing to learn. plus hes kinda spunky but most the time he is calm and colected. we have tryed to name him scence the day he was born but we havent been able to finde aneything great. than when he was 5 months old his mom kaite girl died. so we want to kinda tye eather her name or the fackt that he was on his own at a young age in with his name some how. we want his name to have a meaning and really fit his personality. and no we cant call him blue for short it just dont fit him. please help!

i only have had him for 3 months as he was a stray.he loves attention but he likes to bite and scrach when patted.i think he just wants to play as he rarely brakes the skin but i have a baby that i don't want to get hurt.how can i get him to stop?its only when he gets patted on his back.

this dog is a major pest the owners don't care they let both dogs run loose, my husband wants to shoot it but I can't deal with that. how do I approach the neighbors to keep it in their yard? we are in a rural settin not a sub-division. It is a beagle then along with him comes their Golden Retreiver. I am not against dogs I am a dog owner to, but I have mine inside.

The kids have 2 mice all, of a sudden they are making like a nest sort of thing that they have never made before...i am now paranoid i will have a cage full of mice. I was assured they were both males. Am i just worrying for nothing?
