Yes. I also leave them at home, depending on the trip and what I will be doing. Leaving them in a hotel room isn't very humane, but if I'm staying with friends who have a backyard for when I'm not there, why not?

No. I usually have someone at my house with them, 24/7, where they can remain comfortable in their own environment. It's a little difficult trying to coordinate travel plans and petsitter schedules but so far it's worked out quite well.

Yes, my dogs travel with me to dog shows a couple of weekends a month.

Yes.. All the times.. when they want to... some of them are auto motion sickness. I have three dogs out of five love to go on the road... so yea... i'm a country girl. as well there some city folks do them as well.

dog- sometimes. we bring my poodle dog on our thanksgiving vacation at our hunting camp about 2 hrs. away. but trips like disney world, universal, and washington d.c., we board her "Animal Barn".
