Hello Charllote, I think it depend´s on how much time you have to spend with your pets , Dogs lot´s of exercise, but make good pets , rabbits I love them too but, lots of cleaning up to do, cat´s well they do there own thing really ,Sleep, Hamster´s well I love hamster´s you never get fed up watching them ,they sleep most of the day , but there easy to look after, all animals are nice , Just how much time can you give to them

This really depends on your situation. If you have a good money income and plenty of room i would advise a dog as they are very loyal and a great comanion.
However less room and a lower money income, i would recomend a smaller cheaper animal shuch as a rabbit/guinea/ pig/bird. You need to make sure you can afford to keep this animal and care for it properly.

A few years back the Big Breakfast graded pets and ginny pig came out on top, they where graded on how much it is to maintain (feed, change bedding), physical appearance, and need for exercise (obviously no need to walk a ginny pig)

I would have to say that the best pet for indoors is a pet rabbit. I have a Lionhead rabbit and its great to have him around. They like to cuddle, play, and be around people\kids. My rabbit never bites or scratches and entertains me and my family. He also likes to give kisses.

depends how much time you got to devote, not a lot cat or fish, dogs an horses are cool but need lots of attention,
Rats are really intelligent and make very nice sociable pets. They dont bite as much as hamsters either

A Horse. If you earn thier trust, you have a friend for life. They are caring, sweet, and friendly. As long as you treat them right and let them know you love and care about them. And if you get one thats broke to ride, then when the gas gets to high, you have a ride. All it needs is grass and water. And whats more, less pollution.
