Yesterday my gf saved a kid (baby goat) from being attacked by some kids (human). It looks as though it has fallen off the back of a cattle truck transporting goats.
It's umbilical cord was still thick and relatively new, so it could have been a day old. It can hardly walk (although I have been walking it around making it follow me and it's starting to do a silly prance).
I have been feeding it full cream cows milk from a baby's bottle every two hours. It wouldn't suckle at first, but I have now got it to suckle big time after several forced feeds.
I have an enclosed area in the shade (as it is hot here), with some water and a box to shelter in.
I know I have to get it some 'colostrum' in its first few days, but I don't know where I could get it from.
I am donating the goat to the high school's Agriculture plot, but I have to feed it until it's weaned.

Does anyone have any other tips they can share to help make this goats life a little more lifeworthy?

I was wanting a type of rodent that likes attention, that is playful, and loving. If they happen to breed i wouldn't want something that would have a million babies a month and it would be hard to find the babies home. I mean if they don't have that many babies per litter than i'll keep them. So, i don't want anything that is too prolific when it comes to mating. I was thinking either chinchillas, guinea pigs, or kinkajous. Which one would be best?? Like i said, i dont want to get something that whenever they do have babies that they aren't that hard to find them homes. But i do have the time, space, and money for either of them.

Hey everyone! ok i have a 2 1/2 yr old, around 15h 900 lbs quarter horse. I've started breaking her for riding a little over a month ago and shes doing wonderful. But i was wondering if its maybe too early for breaking where she isn't fully developed? I only ride her a couple times a week and i'm only around 105lbs so i know i'm not too heavy for her but i don't want to risk future problems such as bone problems or anything else. If you have answers i'll be happy to consider them! Thanks!

when he got off the couch, his face hit the floor because BOTH his legs gave out. he is walking funny (when he does walk), with his midsection arched and he keeps falling) but he doesnt react in pain when we touch him or move him. he wont eat and i had to give him water in a medicine syringe. he went outside last night and showed up on our prch like this this morning. i cant find any wounds. he just keeps staring, like i said. really weird. i cant get to the vet until much later because my car died this morning and i dont have a way to get him there. im really worried and i cant seem to find anything online that describes his condition. i dont know if he just sparined his legs. but he isnt making any sort of noise of pain. im just so worried about him. um, if anyone knows anything, please give me some information, it would help. thank you!!

My male rat, Honey, had a big mite problem so i gave him a scrub down with kitten flea shampoo, used flea spray to disinfect his cage, and put a tiny itty-bitty dab of kitten flea medicine between his shoulders. He doesn't have mites any more but now he smells like sulfur and hes wheezing a little. Did I do something wrong?

Looking to adopt a chinchilla. Would prefer a younger one, but always open to older ones also! They all need good homes. Does anyone know where I could buy one somewhat locally?
