You could go to the vet, they can usually tell, but it is hard because male bunnys will suck in there um you know, and so it is almost impossible to tell, vets will know, Bunnys eat hay (get alfalfa hay), carrots (but every once and a while), celery, plain yogurt, pineapple juice, apples, and much more, Stop giving it the milk a.s.a.p or he will get fat, and switch him to yogurt

1) hold the rabbit carefully and flip it over (still carefully and slowly) until the stomach is facing you. Look between the lower legs and it should be pretty obvious if your bunny is a boy or a girl.
2) i have never fed my rabbit milk. Um, other things your rabbit can and probably should eat: alfafa (extremely important, you can get alfalfa blocks at any basic store, Wal-mart sells a good crunchy carrot-shaped treat that has alfalfa in it), celery, clover. Basically any dark vegetable, but be very careful. Certain types of lettuce could make your rabbit sick. I'd suggest checking out a book at the library on rabbits or looking it up online. I've cited a source for suggested veggies

Milk=bad for rabbits. No milk. Rabbits need hay. Give them carrots tops and lettuce daily. They need water and you don't need a salt-lick. They need to stay inside and they need a thick blanket under their feet if they are on bars. If you have a large cage (which you should have) they will poop in a litter box on their own, but not always. If the litter box is full it will not use it. Don't use cat litter or cented litter. You can determine its sex by, check it's private part, seeing if it is developing a pouch under it's neck (if it is, that means its a girl), or by the shape of its head. Males usually have a longer head then a female, but not always. Your best bet is to watch for a pouch. If the female rabbit gets preganant, it will pull its hair off the pouch and make a nest for her babies. Strawberries, blueberries, bananas, carrots, and other things like that are treats, not food. (Like I said before, carrot tops are fine) Blueberries aren't very good for them and broccoli is not good for them at all. Sometimes finding a freind for your rabbit is good. If it is a female, another female rabbit or a male is best. Males aren't great together, but sometimes it works. If you put a male with a female, you want to get them fixed unless you want new rabbits every few months. Rabbits die of fright and depression, don't scare them or seperate them from their mate for a long period of time. Also, if you rabbit kicks when you try to put it in its cage, holdits feet and cover its eyes. Kicking can break his back and that is not a good thing especially for a rabbit. Shedding or gaining hair is normal, they do that based on summer, winter, spring, etc. Only give it milk if its a baby and its formula milk. But you should stick to water if its 5-6 months old. I hope this helps you, bye!

to sex your rabbit, turn it over. if it has testicles, and you can push on the private area and it has a round male part, then it is a male, if you push on the private part and it comes out like an upside down v, it's female.

Now as for the milk thing... where did you get that Idea? that will give your poor rabbit the runs! stop giving it milk immediatly! give the rabbit some good grass hay, and some whole oats on top of it's feed. That should help to encourage the rabbit to eat.

Stop giving the milk immediately, not good at all. He should be getting pellets, hay and a variety of dark green, leafy veggies like spinach, kale, carrot tops etc. An occasional fruit treat is okay, but try to give it sparingly.

Rabbits need hay (LOTS OF HAY), pellets (plain, no nuts or seeds) and fresh veggies. Do not give your rabbit milk!

Go check out www.rabbit.org . There's TONS of info on bunnies there, including food, health care, etc. It should explain how to sex your bunny too.
