You can sometimes identify the gender of older rabbits by simply looking at their features and characteristics. Bucks have a blocky head and body compared to a doe of the same breed. Larger breeds sometimes develop a fold of skin under their chins called a dewlap. To make sure of the sex of the rabbit you are buying, follow the steps below.
Instructions
STEP 1: Wear a long-sleeved shirt. Rabbit's nails are sharp, and rabbits may scratch when they are excited or upset.
STEP 2: Place one hand loosely on the rabbit's neck and upper shoulder area.
STEP 3: Place the other hand under the rabbit and rotate it into the crook of your arm.
STEP 4: Hold the rabbit's head slightly lower than its body.
STEP 5: Use forefinger and middle finger to press down the vent area. The vent area is just in front of the anus. A doe will have a slit running up and down. A buck will have a pinkish tube with a pointed end.

If you are not comfortable handing your rabbit, get someone to hold your rabbit like a baby on it's back, with it's head tucked under their arm and it's body resting on their forearm. You may want to wear long sleeves to prevent getting scratched. To determine the sex of the rabbit, use your forefinger and middle finger to press down the vent area just in front of the anus. In both the doe and buck, the area will protrude. The doe will display a slit or central line running up and down. Each side of the slit will be banded in pink. It may look like a "V".

The buck, on the other hand, will display, if less than 5 weeks old, a blunt white tube without a central line. (It may look like a donut.) It will not have pink traversing either side of a center line. Older bucks will present a pink tube with a pointed end that resembles a bullet.

With younger rabbits, you must look very closely to see the difference. With older animals, don't count on seeing testicles on a male, as they can be retraced into the body when it's cold or scared. You can see them easily if the animal is hot, they tend to drop.
An older doe will have a dewlap under her neck, sort of a pouch or pillow under her chin. Bucks tend to have a square head and do not have a dewlap.

This is really tough to do unless you are experienced or your rabbit is an older rabbit. I bet if you took it to a pet store they would help you find out and maybe have others that they can show you the difference. If not there, it is almost easter time and farm stores will have rabbits there.

nicely listed decrease than are your concepts: a million. get a male, they might have babies!!! 2. get a woman, there's a stable risk that they are going to kill one yet another, yet they won't! 3. get the two gender rabbit and purely shop them in seperate cages!

A male has two sacks around a furball. A girl has just a furball. If it is a baby, go to this website http://www.bio.miami.edu/hare/sexing.html This is a good explanation on how to do it.
