i was just wondering what crow hopping is in horses. I have this horse that like 7 or 8. i'm not really sure and when he gets spooked he'll do this wierd thing where he jumps and throws his legs forward. i can stay on but its scary. he has a very strong neck and so i try turning his head but its pretty hard.

I am going to buy a tarantula- but the petstore employees don't know what species it is. It is being sold for 5 dollars and is a light brown color about 3 inches in size. What is a safe live food for it It'd be particularly nice to feed her things I wouldn't have to purchase but could find (small lizards? worms? houseflies?)

I have heard that they don't, and that they live only on hairy animals, like our pets. Is that true???

I watched Black Beauty the second part last night, I cannot watch the first as that video has broken, but Ginger was a grey, I remember Merrylegs being a grey pony?

What colour are they, Shouldn't Merrylegs be grey and Ginger be chestnut (or Liver Chestnut?)

Thanks

I went to pick up and play with my hamster when I noticed he had an area that didn't have any hair and there was a black thing hanging on his skin. When I saw it, I was disgusted and put him back down. Could it be a skin disease or something else? I still don't get how he's having this, I always take good care of him. Seeing him like this now is a real tearbreaker because it's so sad. I really want to do something about it, I was thinking about bringing him to a vet tommorow. I was so shocked but also very sad. I don't want my hamster to die.

The old expression a man should be able to shoot his own dog. IS it still true? Do you need to bring a pet to the vet,or is it still acceptable to bring it out in the back of the yard?

He looks for things to eat all the time. Never stops. How can I prevent him from eating his bedding without taking it away or feeding him more food? He's already ate enough.

But I can't get a cat or dog. I would like something inexpensive. I already have a hamster and a guinea pig. My mom won't let me get a rabbit. So, any suggestions? And would you also tell me some info about what you suggest? Thanks!

By your vet! A phone call is free! A lot of us 'answerers' do know what we're talking about, but your vet is close to you, should know you and your pet, and is a licensed practitioner! A lot of these questions are vague and broad, and animals, especially dogs and cats, can have similar symptoms for MANY diseases, life threatening or otherwise! Don't wait for a 'best answer' on here when there may be something seriously wrong with your baby!
