There are chemical ways to prevent it.
Call a pest control and ask them.

I used bleach water on the POO and killed the scent.
He is marking territory, not just decorating your yard.

This may not be a bad thing- a male dog fecal odor is a natural barrier to keep skunks, raccoons and even rats out of your yard.

hahahah "determined to poo in my yard!" lol. that was funny

dont shoot the dog,you will get in trouble woth the cops and with animal control, and animal crulety. its not THAT big of a deal that you have to take an animals life. its not your to take.
speak with your neighbors. tell them[in a prefesional manner] if they dont keep thier dog from defacating in your yard, you will kindly return the poop to their front porch. you can even write them a letter. if the threat of poop on thier porch doesnt work, then actually do it a few times. maybe they will get the point. if it doesnt work, then you can do some more creative things with it. put it in an old cookie, or popcorn box, and put a bow on it. >=]
lol . if that doesnt work than harrass the animal control.

tthey do have this dog repellant stuff you can sprinkle on your lawn. i think they sell it at home-depot . if you dont have a home-depot, you can order it online.

It's not really the puppy dogs fault so I wouldn't shoot it

If a dog leaves its property without a leash and the owner it's considered a stray and can be picked up by the pound.

Perhaps advise the neighbour of this.

I had the same problem until I gathered up all the poo for a couple of weeks and then went to the back of my neighbors house and threw it all around right outside their back door. No dog problems after that.

try to put some vinegar in bowls around the yard, because most dogs don't like the smell. I'm not very sure it will work ,but my dog hates the smell.

Don't shoot the bugger! obviously the dog has been doing his duty there for some time. pump a fer into the ground near him/her and See if that works. The county I live in has a leash law.Check into that.

Talk to them. If it doesn't stop then put the poo back in their yard when they won't see you.
