He hasnt run on it for over 3 weeks now,and he uses it to sit and clean himself on now,so is it worth removing it from his cage and replace it with another toy or something else he can entertain himself with?
What are the best things to give him?I know they like toilet rolls, but he hasnt touched the one ive given him,and ive got him one of those log things with holes in,and he doesnt like that either.
Any suggestions?

I have a question, if this has happened to you please let me know. My daughter's dwarf rabbit was in its cage and I picked her up and was petting her. I had one arm under her and one hand holding her neck area. Then I moved my hand by her neck and she took flight and jumped off of my other arm. She fell, I was sitting on the dining room chair, she fell onto the chair next to me and then on the floor. She at first ran along the side of the wall, then back towards me quite hastly. Then she fell to one side and froze. Her eyes were closed at first and then she opened them but did not move. I scooted her into her little carrying box. I'm just looking for advice, both how to care for her in the next few hours, also if she went into shock or is that something typically rabbits do if they fall? Has it happened to you? Thanks for any help given.

I have two cats in my home that are a very big part of my life. I am interested in getting a ferret, but i don't want to keep him/her in a cage all the time. Is it possible for the three to coexist in my home without hating one another? Will they share the litter boxes??

The idea of buying a foal hadn't presented itself untill now. I am a first time buyer and was wondering if this is a good or bad idea. My current trainer would be able to help me train the foal. I was going to buy my own horse so that I could start showing him or her in 2007 but I do have other horses that I can ride for a few years untill the foal is older and ready to start training under saddle. Your advise will be greatly appreciated!!:)

I have 1 hamster.I thought that she would be much easier to take care of but since then shes grown an gotten faster.Everynight that she hasnt already found a way out of her cage she gets out of it somehow.(((( its why i call her hammy houdini... ))))).Its become routine to get out of bed at 4:00am to catch her.I always inspect her cage an i already put strong tape on all the holes on her cage.I also have a theory that the only reason why she lets me catch her is because she knows the cage means free food but she also wants play time.I have multiple experiences with her tricking me.

i tell you all of the stories of her but i dont hav room to. well actually, i might have enough room but i dont like typeing cuz it brings me back to elementry school.
PS. shes an evil genious i think

In addition 10 or 12 others that were in the same pasture were sick to varying degrees. Symptoms were bloating, colic, the ones that didn't die had diarrea, one got really dehydrated. All had normal temps. The most adversly affected were young mares pregnant with their first foal, including the two that died. Necropsy showed no worms or sand in intestines. Four different vets said it had to be something toxic to affect that many horses. Blood samples showed nothing and samples of their feed have been sent off, but most poisons affect the nervous system and the only thing I saw was yawning (can't remember what that's called). Has anyone else ever heard of anything close to this? I have looked extensively on the internet, but can't find anything with the same symptoms. One more thing, we have had dought conditions for several months. If you have any ideas, please answer so I can do some more research. Thanks for any help!

I want to put together an event for the local animal shelters and organizations in my area. I would love to have a venue where we can have artists, musicians, etc but all the money goes to animal needs (blankets, food, shelters) etc. I would like there to be adoptions going on and maybe the entrance fee is a bag of dog or cat food?

How do I organize this? Is it a good idea?

but how can people deny the animal abuse happening at Proctor and Gamble? How can Peta make phony videos and get away with it? I don't think it's made up. There are other organizations that agree there is cruelty happening with Proctor and Gamble and if you send them an email they don't deny animal testing. What do you think? Have you found any supporting research or web sites?
