but how can people deny the animal abuse happening at Proctor and Gamble? How can Peta make phony videos and get away with it? I don't think it's made up. There are other organizations that agree there is cruelty happening with Proctor and Gamble and if you send them an email they don't deny animal testing. What do you think? Have you found any supporting research or web sites?

Personally I don't agree with PETA's stance on everything but I think it sometimes takes radical and inflammatory action to bring a cause to the public notice, a bit like the early womans suffrage movement. A lot of what they did was shocking in its time but it brought publicity and eventually action. However as time moves on and there is more awareness it seems some 'rights' groups move to a fanatical fringe and seem to incite more harm for their cause than good.
If you do a search for Proctor and Gamble animal testing you'll find a lot of sites. Some have hard facts to back up the claims, so don't.

Peta is a little crazy, yes. animal testing happens too. someone else answered a question along these lines a while ago and i had to agree with his answer. animal testing is not a nice thing to think about or to do. but, as things stand, the hard truth is: it is necessary and more ethical than testing on human beings.

Hi there...unfortunately, P&G is not the only corporation who performs animal testing. PETA is sadly misrepresent themselves and to the public. There are plenty of people who fall for their propaganda because they only tell people what they want to hear. Animals are here for humans to have dominion over. The ones used for experimentation are only alive because of the use that humans have for them. PETA would be better off,not throwing paint on fur coats,and trying to help in Dar fur, or with the aids epidemic in Africa.

i personally love PETA. i know that proctor gamble does animal testing and i will never use their products. animal testing makes absolutely no sense. it' s meant to find out if things are safe for people. animals and people are not the same at all, so not only is it nonsense it's even more importantly inhumane. animals need for people to stand up for them. they have no voice of their own. PETA tells the truth when it comes to companies that use animal testing and abuse. what you will find on their websites or the email that i receive is vivid and raw, but true. so sadly true.
