It could be some strange thing inside his treets, but he is outside, so I cant keep a constint eye on him. He seams to be fine. energetic, eating, pooing fine....I don't understand what they could be. I didnt' touch them or anything, they were about the size of a bean, shaped like a kidney bean, and reddish black... Any ideas?

I cant tell you anything for certain (not a rabbit owner myself) but if your rabbit goes outside it could likely be something that hes bringing into his nest from outside somewhere. I would check around your home in areas where the rabbit normally hops around and see if you can find anything that looks like whats in his nest. I would also check the food/treats you feed the rabbit for anything that looks similar, as he may be taking something out of his food and sticking it in his nest. Also just keep a close eye on him to make sure hes ok, most likely youll be able to discover what it is just by watching him closely.

Hope this helps.

I think you shouold take him to the vet for a check up and bring one of those things with it. You can find a rabbit savvy vet at http://www.rabbit.org

it sounds like she had babies, thats wha it sounds like. My hamster had babies once and they were reddish color. Very odd color. Call the vet to be sure.

maybe its not a he, lol...
it could be a she who had babies and ate them? and tha placenta could be left over, in pieces. i know it sounds gross but this happened to me. i don't know the exact reason she ate them, but she could have sensed they were sick or something.
