I am going to buy a tarantula- but the petstore employees don't know what species it is. It is being sold for 5 dollars and is a light brown color about 3 inches in size. What is a safe live food for it It'd be particularly nice to feed her things I wouldn't have to purchase but could find (small lizards? worms? houseflies?)

I'd say mill worms and crickets. Years ago I had a Mexican Red Leg Tarantula and I use to feed it crickets, mill worms and
new born baby mice. Good luck

i might get rid of the locust asap. attempt spraying water from a water bottle around the tank. no longer too lots and easily misted. it may desire to be thirsty. attempt yet another locust in an afternoon or 2. Ask the puppy save in the event that they advise feeding it something diverse to perhaps boost its existence somewhat. In Australia we've chicken eating Spiders that are a species of Tarantula and that they devour small animals (eg. like pinky mice) in captivity besides as bugs.
